I would say today was a long day to me, but it went by pretty fast. I woke up late, decided not to have coffee, and at work the DTE(Dietary Tech) class came in. No warning of that, and although my supervisor said at first to ignore the piles of dishes they left, I hadn't even gotten a full load in before they started insisting I already have it doe. The only one who was close to polite was this Middle-Eastern girl. No offense to her, though, but I don't think she should have been wearing what she was. Cultural issues aside, I don't really think it's a good idea to wear loose, full-body covering in a kitchen. It would be bad if that caught fire.

Woke up. Yakked like I have not yakked in a while. I think it was panic induced since I woke up at about 4 in a panic at the idea of sitting in an airport, and that turbulence went straight to my stomach. (No idea why, I do trips like this about 8 times a year already.) Went to work. Sat around feeling terrible an unmotivated. And now I'm preparing to fly to Boston for a 4 day business trip.

Ugh. Being an adult fucking blows. I just want to crawl back into bed for the next day or two.

Mastah. It sounds like you're giving up already, to be honest. Like, this sounds like a guilt-tripper talking through you, not you.

BFEL's point is (or at least seems to be) that you should start asserting yourself, while remaining a nice person, and be ready to dish out the consequences if your boundaries are not respected.

Every time, every single time this kind of thing has happened before, I've given up. Because I was too afraid to be alone. I stayed with someone who treated me like dirt because I was too scared to simply walk away.
I'm not afraid anymore. I can deal with being alone, now. I know I can take care of myself, and I'm not going to sacrifice my sanity any more than I have.
I'm done, and if they don't see that, then I'm not going to go crazy or insane, I'm just going to end it.

Fucking windows 8.

I start useing it for the first time in a few years (because the windows 7 computer I was using at this location was moved to another) and they decide to force me to sit thru 10 min of shit that makes fucking GOOGLE look simple. I mean, what the fuck would I have done if I dident have a fucking cellphone? Answer, nothing. I had to enter a cellphone number. Then theres the bullshit with "oh, you must access yer email from another device to get a code to let you logon here" and then the pure fucking BULLSHIT with the passwords.

I actually had hope for fucking windows 8 again, and they killed it in 15 seconds.

I've installed at least 50 windows 8 machines in my time.
