I have to get up an hour earlier tomorrow morning to work at a place that I'm not sure I can find.

Maps and directions from my boss only got me within four blocks of the place, when my boss said it was only two. I get there much earlier than I thought, though, but when I do, I find that the previous user of the equipment I had to use did not clean up or even finish their job with it. I probably could also have gotten home an hour early if I knew where I was going better by walking to where I transfer buses since I could have made it in the time it took waiting for the first bus.

Nothing much to do again in the morning. Got complaints about how there were no samples in a job slip, and went through several boxes of spare tattoos only to not find any extras of that one job.

A client was complaining about how their tattoos wouldn't transfer onto skin properly. It turns out that they wouldn't transfer because the people trying to apply it were wearing too much sunscreen. The instructions on the back should be clear enough. Leave on for thirty seconds, while pressing down on the tattoo. Peel from a corner slowly. Do not apply to oily or otherwise dirty skin. You have to keep your skin clean or it won't transfer, and you shouldn't apply tattoos to sensitive skin or near your eyes. Hell, even with perfectly clean skin the tattoo may not want to transfer properly. We were all putting on some leftover tattoos from that job to see if they were transferring, and they were just fine, for the most part. The boss was confused when he came over to see why there were several people just standing around putting on tattoos, but then he pointed out why the client couldn't get them to transfer.

Another client was short-shipped by almost one thousand tattoos. I thought for certain that it was the fault of whoever packed the box, as that seemed to be way too many short to be caused by a miscount in the actual size of the tattoo bundles. Turns out that the counter on one of the presses is to blame. Some of the piles we recounted were short by almost twenty tattoos. Standard bundles are made up of 125 tattoos, so that is a large shortage.

But it is difficult to tell if a pile is off or not. Even if the tattoos are fine, it is hard to tell how many is in a pile by looking at it. If the tattoo is crap, if the sheets won't lay flat or if they are smothered in glue, then it will be hard to tell, as a pile that is short but has excess glue can appear larger than a glue-free pile with a normal count.

So now we have to use an electronic scale to weigh each pile before cutting them. The pile will look at the weight and tell you how many sheets it thinks is in the pile. But again, things like excess glue can throw off the weight.

And I got in shit for all of the incidents above. I wasn't the only one who did though. Several people were given trouble for it.

Finally, I'm working this weekend.

I have two leech stories! Yay for hospitals! The first one is just that they're fun to kill, because they react to being dunked in 70% alcohol about how you'd expect anything to (vomit everywhere, only because they're leeches it's made of blood). The other one is a little terrifying and I'm not entirely certain I can share it legally - I almost surely can, but then again maybe it's weird enough to count as patient-identifying information. Who knows!

So I had just finished a page and a half of my biology work, and I decided to take a (hopefully short) break.

I pulled up Town of Salem, and had just joined a lobby when my mom comes up.

"Oh my gosh you are addicted to that game! You need to actually do your work, not just play games! Don't do anything on your computer before you finish that biology."

So the first time you come up here in two days, and that's enough to determine I'm addicted to a game I was directed to just last night? One that you hadn't seen until now? Urgh.

I doubt she'll come back up here until tomorrow, and even that's unlikely.
