But yeah, setting up anything with GRUB that isn't automated (and sometimes even if it is automated) is just plain scary. I avoid all that D:

My FB profile still has my info from college. And it'll stay that way, until whatever happens consumes FB's backup data vault. I suppose by now there's enough data out there it reasonably knows this account on Bay 12 = me. It probably thinks I actually like Tartar sauce.

I'm so glad Gmail shoveled all the Facebook spam to a tab of its own. It's been years of "you have the same amount of messages as 3 years ago." I don't read the posts of anyone anymore, really. I will pop into a post that has mentioned me in particular, since FB knows most people, me included, are narcissistic enough to want to know what others are saying about them.

I still have an active FB account so my extended family can get it in touch with me if they need or want to. That's pretty much it.

90% of my Facebook use is as a chat service with one of my friends. The other 10% is for photos. I find it marginally more useful than if they were sitting on my hard drive.

Whenever it sends me an email, I click the "never send me emails of this type again" button. Or the link that goes to where I can find that button, I suppose. That's what I do with all automatic emails, though.

I turned off all facebook emails pretty much as soon as I made an account. I get the occasionally one from a new service that didn't exist as of last time I updated my email policy, but it's not a huge deal.

You still have people posting stuff on Facebook?

The only reason I check mine daily is PMs and Groups. My main page just shows George Takei, an old friend who posts semi-cool pictures almost daily, my super religious "the Illuminati rule the world" uncle, and bands I liked years ago.

Two years ago that was, well, different.

I read this wrong. I think. Suffice to say, the first time I looked at it I thought you were talking about George Takei there. :P
Dang confusing run-on sentences.

Commas are important.

Well, the stuff after the second comma obviously wasn't related, but before that it worked.

Perhaps Dutchling just happens to know more about his uncle Takei than we do, hrm?

"Your code broke and I'm not telling you why."

Almost literally. All it says is

Quote
Microsoft Visual Studio C Runtime Library has detected a fatal error in Flood routing with graphical rendering.exe.
That's it.

And that error happens on a simple print-to-console line of code.

Spoiler: screenshots (click to show/hide)
That's supposed to be water, but it punches holes in reality now. Actually it doesn't work at all because it decided to stop working.
