I don't think so. A lot of people wouldn't take a story like this seriously, but that's because a lot of people think tazers are harmless compliance tools instead of less-lethal weaponry.

Everyone recognizes the threat of firearms, not to mention that if cops start shooting a community's kids it will be a very short period of time before the community starts shooting back.
