They're coagulated proteins in your sight. It's entirely normal, especially during puberty, early adulthood and late adulthood.

I get them, but with migraines i also get scintillating scotomata. It's weird.

I typically see one "layer" normal vision. Another "layer" behind it that looks like static you get from a broken TV.

And when I close my eyes, it looks like a disco.

Aye, that'd most likely be a floater. Those are actually somewhat common, from what I understand, and generally harmless.
Holy shit. Thats it.

Thoguh, late teens? I've easily had a number of these since I was 6.

If you practice relaxation, you can get that to a state that is not quite dreaming, but capable of being used for similar things, generally during sleep paralysis.

Yes. Heres a trick. Take a ping-pong ball, cut it in half, tape both ends over your eyes, get to a place with a closed light source, a indoor room, and train light on the EQUALLY. so that every part gets eqaul amounts of light.

What happens is, your brain does't like when shit isn't changing, so first it starts tuning it out, causing you to gradually grow blind. After a while though, thats still not good enough, so you're brain actively starts making shit up. Effects are super temporary, and will last unitl you see something change, even by a tiny amount.

I can have those on whim in a dark room. I'm pretty sure I can get to stage 4; does going down a flashing tunnel count? Or building imaginary buildings out of what looks like green energy?

That is generally stage three. Stage four is full on dream like, generally as hypnogogia sets in. Stage five is sleep.

I can hit level 3, usually. I once managed 4 though.

Level 3 is a regularity for me, but I can get close to 4 if I keep my eyes closed for a few minutes.

Hallucinations?

I don't have them all that often, but once I became really, really sick. It was the night before I was due to leave for Thailand, and I suddenly started shaking. And sweating. The shaking became worse, to the point that I could barely return my toothbrush to its jar.

Anyway, couldn't miss a holiday just because I'd suddenly gotten ill, so the next day I staggered along with family to the airport. I looked and felt terrible, but I made it to Bangkok, where we had to wait for hours for some reason.
I was sleeping on a couch next to my family members, when apparently (I don't really remember. Infact, I hardly remember much of the trip at all) I stood up and started describing some bizarre picture I could see on the (blank) wall above us. I pointed at it, describing it in detail and raving on about how amazing it was, and then I just trailed off and said, "You can't see it, can you?" Then went back to sleep. ???

Edit: Actual Rage: MY FUCKING IDIOT OF A BROTHER LEF THE KEY IN THE FRONT DOOR AGAIN, AND NOW MY STUPID SISTER AND NIECE ARE HERE. GODDAMNIT

Oh, you reminded me of the terrible dreams I used to have. I would have a dream, usually about racing or a big tsunami or something, and something would happen in the dream. It was usually something to do with nuclear power, but after that I would always wake up. Then, I would go walking to my parents room, half asleep. I would always be terrified of something, but pretty much completely awake. They once asked me to do math while doing it, and I completed the problem then started rambling about how "I didn't have enough points to save Grandma from the wave" It went that way for a few years, but only once or twice a month. I don't do it anymore.
