I hate talking on the phone. I really do. I have a hard time understanding people face to face. Over the phone, you take away whatever lip reading I could do, take all the body language, and add in a bunch of static and other distortions. And to top it off, I have to speak with this guy who has a thick Indian accent, or a woman with this quiet squeaky voice.

I wish I could quantify exactly what it is that makes me hate her, but I can't. I recognize that it is totally irrational, but that doesn't change how I feel about it. It's almost like some kind of weird hate crush.

No. Frollo is caught in cognitive dissonance about whether he wants to kill Maria or not even though he's enamored with her.

By "weird hate crush" I am referring to involuntary reoccurring thoughts about someone such as in a state of infatuation, except instead of liking her I hate her.

Perhaps do something that she is completely not interested in to repulse her away?  Like make endless Star Trek references or other nerdy shit.

All the same? I suspect she really doesn't like him that much, since she convinced him to give up his room key to come by with one of her friends and try to hit me up on the aforementioned incident. I think she hangs around him to get increased access to me since I want little to do with her myself. I don't think he knows about it and I'm glad he doesn't, since I know his head would explode if he found out I had the chance to sleep with her out of no effort and turned her down.

People like your roommate and his 'friends' give somewhat more honorable drug users like me a bad name. :/ I share you opinion on random sex with random people, if not necessarily the same opinion on drugs as you.

I'm just going with the tried and true strategy of ignoring her and being unpleasant when I have to talk to her, but even that only seems to draw her in. The first time I did my best to drive her off by talking about how I had to write a paper and get some sleep, but that didn't work at all and eventually I just plain told her to leave.

This is the type of person who basically turns into a social homing missile and will pretend to be interested in or accept anything in order to keep up whatever goal they have in mind. I think that might be what I hate about her. I can't fucking stand totally amorphous, utterly fake expressions of interest.
