... I think the kitten just farted.

Dammit, Marvin. It's bad enough you attempt to maul my extremities on a regular basis. Must you also release horrifically noxious gases in my vicinity?

I really hate my great books discussion group.

The only ones that talk are the ones who are fucking insane.

Quote from: Chesterton
For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

I must echo Darvi's question.

What is this 'soul' you speak of? Is it edible?

Macromeme would be a vending machine that sells 1$-bills. Cost: 1$
cost: your soul

Money is a cost. Time is a cost. My soul is not a cost...or at least one I don't mind paying.

Reminds me of high school.  A friend of mine sold his soul for like $10 to buy lunch one day.  He wrote "Jerry's Soul" on a little piece of paper, put it in a gameboy cartridge case, and sold it.  A few years later, he started making really desperate offers to buy it back :P

Wasn't that the plot of an episode of the simpsons?

Wasn't that the plot of an episode of the symptoms?

The Simpsons?... no clue.  If so, I never saw it.
