Can this kill ghosts?

I'm searching for a utility that can.

If you write a tool using it to do that. Runesmith uses DFHack for it's DF access, it should allow killing ghosts.

I had a ghost that didn't show up in the slab list and didn't have a corpse surviving.  I just opened up runesmith, found the ghost, and checked the dead flag.  No more ghost.

Actually I've recently contributed fix-3708.cpp, which makes them engravable (given enough dead goblins). It only has the necessary offsets for the latest linux version, though.

Finally another release! This time with some nice new supported tools and improvements to old ones.

dfcleanowned
Removes the ownership flag from items. By default, owned food on the floor and rotten items are confistacted and dumped. It has some more options (see the README).
dfautodump
Dumps or destroys all the items marked for dumping (will leave alone items inside creature inventories, buildings and constructions).

The prospector tool got a rewrite and some major improvements to its output.

Aside from that, a lot of internal changes and bugfixes are included. Enjoy :)

So what's the going price for a firstborn in this economy?  I'm willing to give you mine but I'm not sure that would be enough compensation.

This is incredible...the FPS increase from using dfconfiscate and autodump is remarkable.  I'd say it doubled.

Do you always look at it in ASCII?

You get used to it, I don't even see the ASCII.  All I see is blacksmith, miner, goblin.

Out of curiosity, what exactly did you destroy?

Oh, that is awesome.  No more waiting two years before my excavated stockpiles are fully usable.

I don't know how possible it is, but maybe someone could work on developing a tool to remove dwarf ownership of clothing items that are not put away in cabinets? Just thought I'd suggest it since it would seem like a fairly convenient tool to have around.
Well, that's a good idea and has been discussed before. I'll see what can be done.

Out of curiosity, what exactly did you destroy?

Owned food and clothes, corpses, and all the crap goblinite piling up outside.  It was claimed and marked for dumping but because there was so much there were a gigantic number of jobs outstanding.
