My vote's been on him since I started the game. How can I be deflecting back to him when I've maintained from a very early juncture that he's scum?

These are questions you really need to think through. They're not hard, if you're willing to crack open your mind a bit and consider other possibilities.

Just because I'm not talking to you anymore doesn't mean my suspicions have changed.

You are trying to get some votes off of you and back onto webadict, because you see that everyone knows your scum and you are paniking, trying to get out of your own self-dug grave. And your not talking to me is extremely scummy, as I have said before.
And webadict and Cheeetar (at least a little bit). I can't swing a cat without hitting someone who I'm arguing with, since I think we're all in very tight quarters. In which case swinging a cat and hitting somebody isn't that remarkable of a phenomenon anyway.

Solifuge, since you're here now, you can answer the question I asked you, reposted here for your convenience:

webadict can battle Solifuge. Solifuge, what erratic scumhunting method will you adopt this game?

Stop trying to get attention away from you, it will not save you.

What you call getting attention away from me is what I call scumhunting. Actually, it's not even that, it's following up on a RV question.

What am I to do? How will I scumhunt if all attention must be on me at all times? You only just started playing mafia, yet you're an instant expert. Tell me what I should be doing.

Try posting actual valid reasons for your actions. I admit that your trying to scumhunt, but your doing it to throw attention off yourself.

You mean reasons like, I think webadict is scum and should be lynched?
Reasons like, I think you're a noob and need to be educated, but you're not listening 'cuz you think you're the shit?
Reasons like, I'm trying to scumhunt and you're getting all up in mah business?
Reasons like, I want to get a better read on everybody but it seems like I'm the only one talking?

Are those the reasons you were looking for? Well gee whiz, O Wise Mafia Master Zako, I'm not sure if you'd like any of them.

Webadict is not as scummy as you are.
You're blaming my n00bishness again as an excuse for your responses.
You didn't read my prvious comment, and I can't stop you from scumhunting just as you can't stop me from using the scumtells in your replies as evidence against you.
It is true, you do seem like the only one talking, aside from webadict and recently cheeetar. Everyone else is lurking to see what other scumtells you will make.

I'm not looking for responses, im looking for scum, and I found one; you.

Why would you randomvote yourself? Since you already know everything about your role and your alignment, what purpose could a randomvote of yourself serve?

If it was to look incredibly scummy, it did the job pretty well.

It appears everything I say is scummy.

Mounds and mounds of more evidence of my scumbucketishness.
And posting this is your defense. Unstoppable!

Actually, yeah, in a way. If trying to convince him by something so outlandish as answering his questions doesn't work, perhaps mockery will.
Why would you policy vote me for random voting myself? Since the rules of this game and Wizard Duel are not the same, what purpose does it serve? If it was to look incredibly scummy...

And clearly, it got some sort of psycho reaction out of you.

The irony is that my defense is much better than yours, and it brings all the boys to the yard.

Holy carp... 10 pages of bickering already. Lots of chances for a portal into your heads though, and I think I detected at least 1 slip-up.

Webadict and Zako, since you're arguing here, why not settle things on THE FIELD OF BATTLE?
You voted the wrong people for the wrong reasons at the wrong time. Three wrongs don't make a right.

If you claim you're scumhunting, then why are you tunneling me? That's a pathetic claim. You're trying to deflect away from what Zako is saying; You're NOT trying to look at others. If you were, you'd ask them questions. Your only other question is to Solifuge, who posted to vote and then left (But that's not nearly scummy enough to admit to it being scummy.)

Reasons like, "Jim is deflecting," or "Jim is tunneling," or even, "Jim is derailing."

Reasons like, "Jim is scum because of these things."

Moron. Yet you think you're better than Zako by having to resort to insults. You've become what you've most hated: Me.

By fighting him, you have only become him!

*ahem*

Webadict: You didn't have to place two votes at the same time. You have two votes. Nowhere does it say you have to place them both at the same time. What did you hope to accomplish by random voting yourself? You weren't likely to get an overreaction from yourself, were you?

I fully intend to adopt none, and thereby throw you off ...unless perhaps I'm just saying this to throw you off, and actually do nothing uncommon at all, except emit WIFOM from all of my pores.

As for Webby and Zako, you're both arguing. It's not that you're arguing with eachother, but here:

Apparently, these are the "wrong reasons":
- Zako is Scum, as evidenced by his non-sequitur logic. It's poorly constructed and artificial, used to cover up his lack of actual fear or suspicion (being scum, he knows who is who).

- Webadict is Scum, and is also hella egotistical. He's fairly sure he can go up against any Town, and recieve enough Aid actions to win a duel, because of his implied value as a player... this would help make him to appear more trustworthy to the Town. The reason he is against dueling Zako is because it guarantees a Scum will die at the end of the duel... there is no other reason he would fear dueling, given that he always has an excess of self-confidence.

I did not claim my reasoning to be groundbreaking. Merely based on observations and applicable prior knowledge. :3

But yes, more importantly, do you see what I am trying to say? Also what does the Webster, or his dear frienemy Zako have to say regarding this? Quick response, rather than long-deliberated ones preferable.

I easily see Web as scum, but Jims defence of 'you're a n00b' is making Zako seem non-scummy by comparison.

The "Attention, duelists!" Votecount:

Org: GeneralGuy, Pandarsenic
ToonyMan: Org
webadict: Jim Groovester, ToonyMan, GeneralGuy, Cheeetar, Mr.Person, Ottofar, Pandarsenic, Solifuge
Pandarsenic: ToonyMan
Solifuge: Jim Groovester
Jim Groovester: Org, Zako, Cheeetar, webadict
Ottofar: Zako, tehstefan
GeneralGuy: Ottofar, tehstefan
Cheeetar: Mr.Person, webadict
Zako: Solifuge

(bolded are the ones who would duel if the day ended with these votes.  Remember, in case of tie, random ones are picked from those tied)

I count 24 votes on there, so theoretically it could be right with Jokerman-EXE not having voted yet.  If it's not right, just say where it isn't.

Deadline is friday.

We're doing it guys. We're making it happen. I think we're going to lynch Webadict Day 1.

Why would you policy vote me for random voting myself? Since the rules of this game and Wizard Duel are not the same, what purpose does it serve? If it was to look incredibly scummy...

It's not just the policy lynch though. The policy lynch in Wizard Duel was put into effect mostly as a reaction to your self-votes in Wizard Duel I.

I saw a repeat of what I saw you do Day 1 in Wizard Duel I, when your scummy ass voted himself and somehow got away with it.

It was a good enough reason to vote you. And it paid off.

And clearly, it got some sort of psycho reaction out of you.

The irony is that my defense is much better than yours, and it brings all the boys to the yard.

Ha ha, you're trying to play this as some sort of attempt to get a reaction? This is rich.

First I was scummy and stupid because I had some sort of plan to make Solifuge and you look like scum.
Then it was a random vote on yourself. I mean, who does that?
And now it's you were trying to get a reaction?

I eagerly wait to see what's next!

You and Zako are the only ones to look at right now. Our discussions have been dominating.

Solifuge answered my RV question, and I'm getting a pretty decent town vibe off of him. Unvote Solifuge.

Moron. Yet you think you're better than Zako by having to resort to insults. You've become what you've most hated: Me.

This is true. In my attempt to give you a taste of your own medicine, I become more and more like you.

But I don't randomvote myself and go crazy when people call this out and grasp desperately for anything that might give them an edge up, so I think I'm the clear winner here.

I easily see Web as scum, but Jims defence of 'you're a n00b' is making Zako seem non-scummy by comparison.

What about Zako's rolefishing? That was really scummy.

At least give me that, man.

Speaking of Zako, Zako.

You really tried to fish a role out of me, dude. That ain't cool, bro.

Rolefishing?
I thought that was him saying 'and then maybe you can claim to be a supercop that's also immune to lynch and nightkills'.
