Welcome everyone to Hyrule, as seen in Twilight Princess. many of you have probably been waiting for this for a long time now. well here it is. (characters may show up from the game. not sure about other games though.)
Everyone starts off with 5 hearts, a basic sword, and a wooden shield. you have three points for buying items and +1 point for every 20 turns after the first (for people just coming in) in addition, you can give up your sword and shield for an extra point. everyone starts off with a magic meter of 10. you can choose from this list:
Combat items, Items primarily used for combat
Boomerang, 1 point: in the game, it usually only stunned enemies. however in this game, if you get a high enough roll, it will do damage. it'll usually come back, depending on level, and will bring back rupees and hearts.
Hammer, 1: a large hammer used for hitting things. very heavy, this will slow you down a tad, but the power is unbeatable.
Bomb Bag with three bombs, 1: You need a bomb bag to carry bombs. each bag carries a max of ten. bombs can be used for... exploding stuff. no matches required.
Bow and Arrows, 1: a regular bow with a quiver of arrows. you don't need to worry about arrow count. unless you get a bad roll, your arrows are infinit.
Slingshot,1: a slingshot that never runs out of ammo. significantly weaker than a bow, but much faster.
Ball and Chain, 2:a large Metal ball at the end of a chain. this item does massive damage, but is extremely heavy and clumsy. an accidental loss of grip could result in the loss of a companian's life.
Whip, 1: a simplified version of the clawshot and grappling hook. it can also be used to grab on to things
Whirlwind, 1: a device designed by the ancients that allows breaths blown into it to turn into massive whirlwinds. although in the game, it was not so much a weapon as a puzzle item, I believe it has potential.
Gust Jar, 2: sucks and blows things. more info later
Cane of Pacci, 1: Fires weak magic blasts that primarily just flip over large objects onto foes. a very... curious item.
Fire rod, 1: a magical rod that spews violent fire from its tip. it can be frustrating at the worst times.
Ice rod, 2: a magical rod that makes ice from its tip. a very unique item; the only one I know of that is ice based and simple enough to be on this list.
Defensive Items, Items that exist mostly just to protect you
Mirror shield, 2: a shield made of a mysterious metal that doesn't seem to scratch or dent. its surface is polish and can reflect many magic attacks. it doesn't seem to need to be polished ever.
Zora Armor, 3: a suit of armor made by the king of the zoras. it allows one to breeth and move underwater as if it were land. it also makes you more vulnerable to fire and ice attacks.
Magic Armor, 3: a suit of armor that makes you immune to damage by draining rupees when ever you are damaged. when out of rupees, you take damage again, and the suit becomes very heavy, making you move slow.
Puzzle Items, Items that help you get from one place to another
Short Clawshot, 1: I cannot think of a more creative item than the clawshot. it has a chain with a gripper at the end that will latch on to anything you shoot at. for an extra point you can buy a longer chain.
Grappeling hook, 1: a knock-off version of the clawshot. basically the same thing, only with rope.
Lantern, 1: an item that can set fire to things, or shed light on the problem. useful at night.
Iron boots, 1: heavy boots that make you hard to throw around. they are magnetic, though make you slow whether or not you're walking on a giant magnet.
Magnetic gloves, 1: a pair of gloves that can either pull or push metal items.
Macho Brace, 1: a band that goes around your wrist that increases strength ten fold!!
Pegasus boots, 1: a pair of boots that allow you to run twice your normal speed.
Roc's Feather/ cape, 1: the feather of the mysterious Roc. it allows you to jump much higher than normal.
Hawkeye, 1: a mask that allows you to zoom into things. useful for long shots with a bow or checking out a route.
flippers, 1: these make you move quickly in water.
Musical Items, instruments of magic
Ocarina, 1: a flute that looks weird.
Flute, 1: An ocarina that looks weird.
Ocarina of Winds, 2: an Ocarina that can call a bird to take you to a different place. a very useful and rare item.
Spells, magic spells that drain your magic meter
Fairy Spell, 2: a spell that temporarily turns you into a fairy. though you cannot attack, you can fly. you can heal others by depleting your magic meter further. this spell costs 3 magic.
Farore's Wind, 3: a magic teleportation spell that can be used to make a warp point that you can teleport to anytime. you can also teleport anybody else to this point as well. it costs 3 magic to make a point and one to teleport.
Fire spell, 1: an attack spell that allows the swordsman to shoot fireballs from his/her sword. each fireball is free.
jump spell, 1: similar to roc's feather, but you can jump higher depending on how much magic you sacrifice. you land more softly from falls. it's meant for sudden jumps, not regular use.
Life Spell, 2: like the name suggests, you can restore the health of yourself or your comrades. cost varies.
Nayru's Love, 2: a defensive spell that willdefend you from all harm. it costs 2 magic.
Thunder spell, 5: an extremely taxing spell. it attacks every enemy near and does massive damage. it costs 10 magic.
More mana, 1: this gives you an increase of your magic meter by 4.
Misc. items, some things just don't have a place
Bottle, 1: an extra durable bottle that you can put anything in. very valuable.
Fishing pole, 1: a pole for fishing.
Butterflynet, 1: useful for catching bugs.
Shovel, 1: for digging.
Telescope, 1: don't even bother.
100 rupees, 1: 100 hundred of the currency of hyrule
horse whisle, 1: call your horse to your aid
Jabber Nut, 1: allows anyone who eats this to understand the language of the minish and animals.
Heart piece, 1: four of these will get you a heart container, permanently increasing your hearts by one.
Guardian Fairy, 2: a fairy with magical powers that is always at your side.
Masks, tranforming masks
Deku mask, 3:a mask that will change your form into a deku scrub, making you made of wood and able to shoot bubbles, float gently with flower helicopters, jump on top of water five times, and use a shield of wood. you can attack with a spin attack, but beware, fire will hurt you and could be fatal.
Goron Mask, 3: This mask makes you a goron, a heavy rock creature with supperior strength. you are not harmed by lava or fire attacks, but does significantly less well in deep water. attacking is with fists or rolling around. when rolling fast enough, stone spikes will emerge from your back (imagine what your chiropracter would say) and damgae anything in your way.
Zora Mask, 3: a mask transforming you into a zora, allowing you to swim quickly through water, breath underwater, jump higher on land, and atack with fins. in addition, you can emmit a lightining shield. in this form you are doubly vulnerable to fire and ice.

You start out in the wilderness, riding your horses in the caravan, when suddenly, Bulbins cone out of the woods, running at the caravan. people scream and run around in circles.
