I would be in too. Also, it would be good to join before the initial blast of essence fades away so I can at least ascend to demi-godhood before the rift closes.

Certainly in again, though you shouldn`t start the game too soon again. The interest fo the last players obviously waned a bit.

My interest only waned after Caesar hadn't posted for a week. :P

Yesssssssssssssssssssss.

I really liked how mortal actions/organizations and such were handled in the second game though, perhaps you could use a similar system here as well, or a simplified version?

Or we could sit together and write a lot of intuitive rules to make the next godhood the best ever.

For example, the following things have to be determined:

1. How is God Vs God Combat handled?

2. What exactly do spheres influence? In the past games it was quite unimportant which spheres you choosed.

3. Exactly how powerful is an act? We need more guide lines. Like, how strong a race could you create  with one act?

There is a roleplaying game called New Gods of Mankind which is made from the ground up to support players as deities. Perhaps we should look into that as a serious rules framework.

Still, let's not go overboard with too many rules. I want my Godhood to remain relatively free-form.

I'd totally be up for this if/when the next game starts.

Wow. I'm glad to hear that you're all excited already.
I'll take the time to browse through the Godhood II and the other things noted.

I'll ensure you, though:
- There'll still be no limit on players (I found such a limit very.. Limiting, and my observations have proven to me that it's the main reason for games dying down).
- Godhood will remain a rather freeform game, focused on letting the players use their imagination and creativity.
- I'll still try to be a good 'Supreme Judge' when you're unsure about whether or not something a God does is God-Godmodding/what the penalties would be.

This is probably a good idea. The problem seems to be that some people go inactive, and then the others have nothing to respond to. And things just spiral downward from there.

So we still can't pin moons against walls with swords?

Which is how I killed the game. Being gamemasterless doesn't work out. :S

Nope. And my previous passed judgments you could all agree with, if I recall correctly, so I think that part'll be without problems.

Edit: I've also managed to feel better about myself and more disciplined than a few weeks ago, so that'd probably help my hosting capabilities for the better.

I would just like to say that I would also be interested if this were to be restarted.
