For Grak's benefit (hey, that sound's like a curse), I'll go make another.  Eh.  Haven't got a cleric yet, but I hear they suck compared to regular wizards with healing spells anyway.

Wizards have heal spells? I've never seen, or used, any if they exist.

Clerics make the best healers, and they can throw some nice status effects and penalties around and heal at the same time, which is a bonus. Bards have some good healing effects as well, such as a daily that makes it so that any time an ally hits a certain dude, they get temp HP. Great for boss fights.

I have D&D with Neruz, a redundant character, no idea what my abilities do, and am not required by the looks of the number of characters you have tallied there, so unless something comes up between now and friday I should probably bow out. Should be interesting to spy on the game though...

All leaders can attack and heal\buff at the same time. You'll almost never find yourself with a power that doesn't let you or an ally attack something as well as do other stuff.

Ferzith - Revenant, Former Githzerai, Assassin

Ferzith had spent his entire life surrounded by bad signs; his mother died while giving birth, his brother was killed during a sparring accident with Ferzith, his father went out on a raiding party and never came back and finally his sister was killed in the night by a Githyanki assassin. Ill omens and misfortune haunted him and echoed his every step, but he refused to bow before them and acquiesce. He would survive, he would take the misfortune and turn it into strength, he would wield ill omens and evil portents against his enemies, and when he finally died he would stand before The Raven Queen and defy Fate to his last breath.
But Fate is a hard thing to fight, it is insidious and powerful, and The Raven Queen does not look kindly upon those who dare to stand against it. Ferzith; trained in the arts of assassination, knowing that those he kept close would inevitably be killed or worse, launched a powerful guerrilla war upon the Githyanki who had sent his sister's assassin. But when finally he tracked the assassin down and poised himself to strike, an unseen bodyguard struck from the shadows and pierced his heart.

Still Ferzith refused to surrender, as his soul stood before The Raven Queen he would not bow his head. With immutable will and impossible fortitude he charged the Goddess, blades flying, intent on striking her down. All his hatred, all his rage and all his resolve to succeed were focused down into a single, telling blow, a blow that struck The Raven Queen and rung throughout the Shadowfell like the echoes of a great divine bell.
The Raven Queen, momentarily distracted by this unexpected assault, lost her concentration for but the briefest of moments and in that moment Ferzith escaped and returned to his body, reanimating it with sheer force of will.

Every Githyanki in the enclave died that day, but Ferzith found himself pursued by agents of The Raven Queen, agents he could not possibly hope to defeat. In a panic, he sought and found a portal to the Prime Material; collapsing the gate behind him in a desperate attempt to lose the Angels closing in upon him.
To his surprise, it worked. Ferzith found himself in the Elsir Vale, lost and alone. There he resolved to hide, for he hoped that with time, he would eventually pass unnoticed by the cold Goddess of death and fate.

For four years he hid within the vale, putting on a cheerful and outgoing facade while doing his best to hide his true nature, moving from town to town as it become necessary, until one day...

I was the last line of defence of the Hammerfist Holds, i stood against the evil, i stood against the foul, when The Red Hand of Doom came to this vale and dared to assault the Holds, it was upon me that their waves of darkness broke against. When finally the Dwarves gave me my rest i strode out into the world to continue the fight! Know this, scions of evil, servants of darkness and all foul beings in the corners of the world. YOU. SHALL. NOT. PASS!"

Built by the Dwarves in the Wyvernwatch Mountains as a tireless defender to guard the Holds, Warder is a masterpiece of Dwarven engineering, artifice and magical craftwork. Given life and mind by divine energy and plated in the finest Gold the Dwarves could find, Warder is an imposing sight upon the battlefield.
For countless years, Warder stood watch over the Holds, not once did he falter, not once did he fail, not once did an enemy slip by him. When The Red Hand of Doom came to the Elsir Vale, Warder stood firm as the waves of enemies crashed upon him like waves against the shore, when finally it was all over, Warder stood before the great pile of bodies that had been his enemies.
Not one had taken a single step past him.

The Dwarves in their gratitude at his ageless service chose to let Warder retire, to go into a deep sleep, or leave and see the world. Warder chose to see the world, knowing that one day he would find a cause worthy of his attentions.
For years he has travelled the world, returning periodically to the Elsir Vale to check up on the Holds, but the routine is beginning to take it's toll on the Warforged, he is beginning to wonder if the noble goal, the worthy cause he has saught for so long, really exists after all...

Now that i think about it, Warder is a more interesting character than Ferzith anyway.
