I still kind of wish Tom has a Mort Fun Time joke at the expense of the reader by the strip being just an empty room for 3 panels.

Ahaha, I would find this pretty hilarious.  Tom always knows how to troll us, heh, and something like that would be up his alley.

I'm not currently sharing the same resentment towards Anthony as most people are, since I figure he's not being a jerk simply for malicious purposes, but I suppose we'll find out sooner or later.

She hasn't exactly been a model citizen of the Court. Which is why her total passivity and submission to Anthony came as such a shock to most readers.

I think she very consciously and deliberately removed her anger and rebellion and physically separated it from her. I don't know how good of an idea that is.

It sort of seems like she used her blinker stone to spiritually maim herself, cutting herself away from the fire elemental within her.

That assumption seems quite plausible, yeah. I wonder what long term consequences might arise due to that though.

By her wording, I'd say 'maim' is a bit strong. She implies it's temporary; presumably it'll be reversed when her hair grows back. (Insert rampant speculation about her psychology and past hairstyles.)

It seems not completely unreasonable to me; under the influence of the elemental part, she's just a ball of anger, shame, and I don't know what. Now, she can try to resolve the situation without setting things on fire.
