And Robot and Shadow are..not people. I don't know about them.

Kat and Annie are the sort of friends that can find a minotaur together and just chill with a minotaur. They fight ghosts and entertain deities. At some point, you just stop being able to relate to people who are confused by soul-reaping entities that respect culture.

Yeah, I never hit that problem in Gunnerkrigg but the Homestuck comparison is apt. I'm up to the part where each page is a collection of different panels for snippets of the story apparently spread up to five hundred pages in the future or some shit and it just completely killed the pace and interest for me, I have yet to go back.
