I think you'd have to make something like a 'plant' entry for the bone meal, with little information, then make it so that the show generates that bone meal plant's milled form.

Helmet plump seeds only? ;-)

The problem is to get proper seeds from any reagent plant.

[REAGENT:A:1:PLANT:NONE:NONE:NONE]
[PRODUCT:100:3:SEED:NONE:GET_MATERIAL_FROM_REAGENT:A:NONE]

Should work.

So, I'm looking to create a meat grinder type workshop, though without a big list of tokens (the wiki is incredibly incomplete in that regard) I'm stumbling through the dark and not even sure if it will be possible. My original idea was for it to use live creatures like the butcher's shop, but instead of having all sorts of parts as the product, the meat grinder just spits out some ground meat and blood. It seems using live creatures is impossible, unfortunately (though I would love to be proven wrong), and I am not sure how/if a corpse can be used in a reaction.

One thing you could do is make any "x sweetbread" or "prepared cow liver" or whatever all go into "sausage".

No error but I don't get the possibility to order my dwarf to try make the reaction (same with all other proposal made).

And solution with adding in material...txt give me huge error (save game doesn't load) : "Missing reaction definition"
Haha, yes, this demands regenning the world.

Other reactions maybe too.

I'm not expert about this, but editing the files in the save folder should do the trick, no ?

You can add reactions to existing worlds just fine.

The only time you need to regenerate the world now is when it's something that has to be CREATED on worldgen to actually show up.  Reactions are not generated at worldgen, so you're fine.
Adding new woods/metals/stones/etc should work, however they will not exist in the world naturally, requiring a reaction to be created.

Hm. Bones and Shells still not working. I've tried the variants presented here and elsewhere. I'm wondering what the problem is. There has got to be a reason why its not working...

Hm. That means we've got the wrong item token. What are we missing? Hmm...

I am attempting to bypass it as well with making a Raw Turtle.

[PRODUCT:100:1:FISH_RAW:NO_SUBTYPE:FISH:TURTLE:FISH_RAW]

Currently this process makes only an unnamed Raw Fish. The fish is surprisingly processed at the fishery for no effect.

Variations that haven't worked:

[PRODUCT:100:1:FISH_RAW:NO_SUBTYPE:CREATURE_MAT:TURTLE:FISH_RAW]
[PRODUCT:100:1:FISH_RAW:NO_SUBTYPE:CREATURE_MAT:TURTLE:FISH]

My understanding was that a number of us have seen custom reactions no show up in workshops.  Does it show up in the job manager?  If not, then I haven't got a clue what to tell you...it's actually the problem I'm trying to figure out right now, mostly by way of assuming I did something wrong and trying to figure out what.

As far as I'm aware, it still has problems with finding reagents in containers.
