Hey now, the paper I was procrastinating had to do with how certain kinds of discursive concepts are envisioned and then transmitted, reproduced, contested, and reframed along structural and cultural channels. In other words, I can justify this exercise in memetic archival research as an auxiliary testing of my hypotheses.... or something

Is that really quite necessary?  In-jokes are one thing, but once it reaches meme level I just find it...  distasteful.  I don't think we need a depository so that people who aren't "in" on the "in-joke" can perpetuate the now-meaningless equine carcass flogging.

But that's just my opinion.  I never say "dorf".

Thanks Municipalis, I've been away from the forums so long and didn't remember clowns and clownite ever being used or at least popular. Was wondering when it became common.
