I'm so awesome, I just walk through the night and bite bogeymen in half.
I also fall into rivers/pools on purpose.

I just had a nice moment. c: I was fighting a warlord and he had broken my leg and I was in a lot of pain. I decided that to throw my axe at him for funsies and it hit him in the lower body lodged into the wound and he gave into pain, I then proceeded to bash him to death with my shield grab my axe and crawl away and I survived another day. c:

Is it normal that I found a <<Adamantine Mace>> in a dungeon?
EDIT: A fire imp caused me to bleed to death by way of melting. Eh, I'll just return as a more awesome thing.

No it's not normal, not that it matters since Adamantine is rubbish for Maces and Hammers.

Even with a shield and a full suit of armor, fire imps can still get you in the long run by heating up the room with their fire.

It seems the only organic things Fire Imps can't kill with fire are demons and thralls.
Zombies do not count.

So basically, Fire imps are amazing.

Yeah, but anything that resists fire can beat them to death with a spoon.
Bizarrely, my speardwarf's title in Adventure Mode is Zonimmast Omshit. Said last part appeared previously in the Demongate thread.
EDIT: Never mind that, a dwarf peasant corpse killed me. Another one managed to break my shoulder and bruise my skull.
EDIT2: My new adventurer is having better luck. Stabbed a necromancer in the face, carried everything they dropped including their body with me. Found an abandoned town. Suddenly a flock of keas in an abandoned house.

In a different world, I got a quest to kill my adventurer...
WHO ALREADY DIED.
I found his corpse and all his loot.

Two things today.  A five year old kid made a artifact, a war bone hammer, which sounds cool.

And I closed down my old jail cells (three of them which were just 2 by 1 dirt cells with some food and a chain) and replaced them with a large common jail cell dug out next to the main staircase.  It has four beds (one in each corner), four chains, two statues and two chairs (placed so that one chair is between two different chains), with a central food stockpile.

Something like this...
B=Bed  R=Rope  C=Chair  S=Statue F=food

BRFFRB
SCFFCS
BRFFRB

The second it was finished a Dwarf was tossed into it.  A prisoner who, while not delighted to be confined and complained about the lack of a table, liked his fine bed and is enjoying the food.  True, people come in to eat and drink the food, but also a lot of people are bringing in food and drink because it is right next to the main staircase.

Also, I hope the high traffic of Dwarfs will keep him happy.  In other words, I hope he will chat with them.  He seems to like kids and there always seems to be one visiting the food stockpile at any one time.  He also seems to have a huge list of friends, so pretty much anybody entering the room is a relative, a friends, or a somebody he knows.  And his family is mostly in the Fortress.  His grandparents live in the Fortress, along with lots of uncles and aunts and so on.

He seems to be a survivor - from what I can tell he has lost two of his four kids when they were just babies (likely to Forgotten Beasts) so I assume he will make it the 60 days sentence without too much of a problem.  In other words, he will not starve or go bonkers.  From his stats he seems to be a pretty stable and even nice individual.  I feel kind of sad that he has been tossed in jail because he got blamed for something that upset the Mayor.

Oh well.

I think you might be in the wrong thread. ???

Well, my current adventurer is doing awesomely.
Found a fallen city (as in my race). Asked one of the miners their profession.
THEY SAID THIS IS THEIR 999TH YEAR AS A FARMER.
Yes, they can get that old.
But a farmer listed as a miner?
Creepy.

Fireballs are ridiculously strong right now. Not even a shield can save you from their wrath.

Nah, fallens can live between 8000 and 7.5 million years.
This guy?
He's YOUNG.
Yes, they can become vampires.
But I asked, since he was blinking.
He wasn't.
I also met the queen in the town, since I forgot to give them castles and those fancy towns humans have with the shopkeepers.
She told me to kill a necromancer, without telling me "crap's too strong".

Oh, and the one thing I found that CAN save you from their wrath?
Being made of a metal or stone that their fireballs can't melt.
Being made of slade or platinum helps a lot.

EDIT: After that guy died VIA chieftain, I started a risen adventurer who got ambushed by demons. An elephant fiend and something of flame.
Is it possible to bleed out a demon? This elephant fiend, despite its low ability to kill me, is NOT DYING.
EDIT2: Never mind, ones with some sort of blood CAN bleed out, just slowly. It helps to stab and slice at them a lot.
