I started of as a dwarf adventurer with high spearman skill, and some others. Also had high strength.
I started in some boring hamlet, and went and asked some farmer for the details of the surrounding area. I was trying to find my most recent fort, which I abandoned due to starvation... After asking the farmer a couple of times, he eventually said that the fort was far to the west(I think). After hearing this I decided to travel there later. I went south-east, to another fort, and got some recruits there, an archer, and someone else. Then I went back to the town to get a quest. I was told by shopkeeper to go kill some bandits, more specifically, goblin bandits. My companions and I went on our merry way to the local bandit camp (If your town doesn't have, you gotta get one, its awesome...........). When we got their 3-4 goblins promptly attacked us. Most went for my companions, but one came for me. (I am soo popular) Having recently been looking at the wiki page for wrestling, and still having the page open, I decided to try out a move. I chose the chokehold.

Shift-a ('A')
Shift-Enter
a
Grab throat with right upper arm...
...
?-?-?
Success - on the first try.

Now I was holding on to an unconscious goblin. I attacked, and seeing that all attacks were really easy and square, (Things can't dodge too well if they are unconscious) I pressed 'c', and promptly stabbed it in the head with my spear...No, not that, get your head out of the gutter
I moved onto the next goblin, did the same.
Then a hammerman came up to me, but when I tried chokeholding it, I noticed he/she had snuck away and been replaced by a wrestler.
Now, I imagine this scene as looking like this:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Then my archer dies, and the other goblins come to gang bash me. I promptly attemped to run away before getting smashed to the ground by some goblin. Oh, and I died...  :'(

Yeah..
I don't remember the exact details of the injuries caused to me, but that (^) is the general story.

I started a new world and a new adventurer... and found that his starting weapon is a cobalt short sword, unlike the previous one's black steel. And no Armok-damned bandit with a better weapon in sight either, just night creatures with nickel slicing knives and kobold wrestlers.

I spawned in a town filled with demons and goblins, some of the demons were hostile to me and to the rest of the demons and all of the goblins were hostile to everyone. What happened next was quite easilly the most badassed streetfight in dorfy history. Demon children bit at the ankles of goblins while adult demons kicked them in the face and in the middle of it all like a hurricane of murder was me gouging out eyes and puncturing lungs, a knife in one hand a spear in the other and my feet beating a staccatto rythm against goblin skulls. That adventurers entire career lasted less than ten minutes but it's easily my greatest adventure ever.

Playing Genesis

So my uber legendary Beastman who killed 150 Kobolds in a cave just to get jewels to decorate his gear, was able to bisect people left and right, had only taken a little bit of damage  fought a  dread werewolf in a cave :

Round 1 -  was making good progress, jacked up the werewolf well was about to make the kill  then my game crashed :\

Round 2 - took one  hit towards the werewolf and he countered by ripping my throat out,  tried to kill him before I bled out but it was all over :(

I was about to retire him too :(

I have a retired legendary adventurer in a nearby town who needs one last quest  time to come out of retirement and kill that dread werewolf !

I went to a bandit camp on a treeless, red sand/gabbro dune with one commander wielding a bronze pike, whose treasure was one sack containing a pair of pants. I broke his arms and was pinning him so an enraged honey badger could kill him, when I thought I should see if this guy was just a guy, and that treasure was like, his laundry.

I copied over the whole game, retired, started legends and looked him up, and it turns out he's just a guy who has never formed a gang with other members or killed anyone or their pets, he just lives out there and is now an Enemy of Civilization. So my very fat, socially unaware adventurer butchered the badger for him, would sheepishly put his tent back up if tents existed, and Traveled away sort of embarrassed.

What would be cool is a History skill so you can see different Legends facts about a 'l'ook target in-game, with more details given if your skill is high, to help me make arbitrary judgments in a virtual fictional environment.

Oooh! You should be able to keep a record of known history based on engravings and crafts that you've seen.  It would be pretty cool to be like a dorfy historian discovering artifacts, learning history, and then killing bandits with said artifacts.

I was attacked by a tiger while playing with neck-breaking modded in. I manage to get a lock on it's neck and it responds by biting my phallus and latching on firmly. It was a mexican stand-off, I looked at the tiger and it looked at me and as I snapped it's neck it tore my penis off. I removed my backpack and beat it savagely for the rest of it's short life.

Slithering around as a Black Naga biter. Injecting fools with my saliva and tearing up their ligiments. Was toying with an all but dead, bloodied, crawling and ((presumably)) poisoned slyvian elf ring-leader. Out of no where he knocks me flat out with a blow from his spellwood spear. I wake up to mortal injuries and pinch off his phallus before bleeding out.

Started an adventure with a sorcerer from the wizards tower mod first guy i recruit turns on me for no reason i can see and then a get flailed in the head. Shortest adventure i ever had. Seriously i had guys who i started just to see how long i could kill a town for last longer than the sorcerer did.

I traveled to a distant land, where there is no capital and bandits are chill as hell. They will not attack me if I approach their camp, and even ambushed me during the night on a mountain, telling me to say it was the Shattered Flags, if I live. I wondered why I wasn't in pain, nauseous, pale, faint, bleeding, and exerted, and I realized they weren't attacking. I talked to the swordsman and went on my way. Maybe they don't kill foreigners.

Before leaving the homeland, I drafted the humans I came across who block doorways. Usually I lead the entrance-standing scum through the deserts to be mangled and mutilated by scorpions, who ensure the terrible humans will never stand to block a doorway again. I thought I would need them to nullify bogeymen during the long journey though, so I led the three of them through a jungle.

The siege operator was the first to go, being brained by a goblin's copper shield after a long fight on a broken ankle. Also during this fight the wax worker was twisting his knife in a goblin's foot, while the goblin was twisting a spear in the wax worker's arm. One down, we traveled to the foot of a mountain to climb and sleep on, and I fast-traveled into a herd of capybaras. The wax worker ran off after them, never to be heard from again, probably devoured by the barking horde. The next night, a hulking horror ambushed the wood burner and me while sleeping on the beach. The horror kept goring my ally away with every step I took to stop him. I finally killed the creature and tried sleeping to revive my companion. I guess it doesn't work if they're unconscious, because he just disappeared without leaving a corpse, probably taken away by the tide, or else rematerializing in a doorway somewhere.

The third night I was out of the jungle, and another hulking horror ambushed me alone on another beach, this one had killed six or seven people. I thought I was so dead but no, I chopped his pelvis off. I slept on mountains the next two nights, mostly fending off giant eagles, and I finally found a hamlet by dropping out of the travel screen a bunch. I tried spreading news and they tell me rumors from distant lands will not save them, which was cool. Now I'm doing quests for a magenta idiot who wants me to kill increasingly-distant titans.

Hmmm there is one story from one of my heroes that stands out in my mind. I created a demigod of a dwarf by the name of Durin Diamondspear the Devourer of Dragons (Two guesses what he does with vanquished dragons). Once I became superdwarvenly in a few stats and high in several skills I decided to travel alone. If I could I would sleep in the beeches to avoid getting ambushed by boogeymen, and it was here I saw a rather odd sight.

I'm interrupted in my sleep, and while waking up I have just enough time to see a tiger close in the distance to about one square away, at which point he keels over and I'm notified that he's died of old age.

Probably the most notable thing I've done was follow a brook that cut through a mountain range that itself bisected the main landmass; I had to do this in order to find a fire titan to kill for a quest. After killing him I saw that his corpse left an undying flame. I wished dearly to carry it but it ended up burning my backpack to cinders and melting me, so I was forced to leave it behind. He ended up retiring as a legendary hero responsible for bringing the land into the Age of Legends.
