I won't lie to you guys (to impress you guys, maybe) but, my X is that I honestly recognize most users here because they're chicks. There, I said it. From my perspective, a girl is so rare in some areas of the internet that they become instantly recognizable the second I see their user profile.

That aside, my Y is someones' post count. It's easy to recognize big numbers and associate them people, especially when you can see who has the biggest numbers, but for me it's usually (and I reiterate) posts.

As for my Q, that one is a bit harder to define, but in the end, I go with, um... personalities! Isn't that why we go on the internet, to meet funny and sometimes strange people! =^-^=

I actually go by their forum avatar, its a lot easier to remember someone from it. And when people change theirs I get extremely confused. I have some sort of old man condition I guess.

This, except I tend to associate the avatar with a username so that I can recognize them even if they change their avatar.

This is why I put "Zai" in the bottom right corner of my avatars (same spot in each). And since I've switched from Elmo, my avatars have all been from the same "theme": SRT. So that should hopefully help people's recognition of me when I change avs.

I wonder who you could possibly recognize by that.

Anyway. I recognize people by their avatars most of the time, their signatures or personalities some of the time, and if I'm still not sure who it was who posted, I look at their username.
