Girl Problems...
« on: March 09, 2010, 09:00:12 pm »

Hello, Well I happen to be madly in love with this girl that is the most amazing person ever. Well if I had left it at this we would say Tell her how you feel, well I did and she was going out with one of my oldest friend, however he didn't treat her the way she deserved. So she kissed me( it was good) and then she comes back about 45 minutes later and tells me that it was all a mistake, and that we're just friends. Well seeing how I love her, I went to her and told her why I love her, she rejected me, and then speaking about this another one of my friends hears about this, and tells the friend that's going out with her. Well I mean hes a good friend, unlike me, and he breaks up with her, i cant tell if its because she cheated on him, or if its whether  or not i love her.
well after he broke up with her she came to me and yells at me claiming that i told someone, and now she wont even speak to me... Please help me...

Sorry to be the pessimist here, but you're most likely fucked.

Anyway, to efficiently evaluate the situation, we need more context: age group, how long have you felt this way, when this all happened, etc.

Well he's obviously a teenager, and so his best bet is to just get some pornos and forget about her and wait until you're in your 20s, when you're old enough to actually fall in love, not to mention not be rendered quite as stupid by lust.

Unrequited love is pretty bad.

It gets worse if it turns stalker-ish.

I'd just try to forget about the whole thing, maybe encourage your friend of whom you cheated out of his ladyfriend to patch things up with her.

Otherwise, you're kind of just a huge douche.

(Although, I assume you're in middle school or very young highschool, so 'relationships' don't last all too long)

Wow man that sucks.

There's probably not much you can do other than get over her.

Also yeah, did you just break up your friend's relationship with his gf? What a dick move. Usually I pity you people but not this time.

Talk to your friend, make sure he knows that the girl didn't cheat on him or anything and encourage him to start dating her again.  Then find a girl who isn't already taken.

Also, don't do the "he doesn't treat her right" thing.  Relationships are give-and-take, and generally people don't stay in them unless they're getting something out of it.  Whatever it is may not be something you think is good, but it's not your place to decide that for her.

EDIT:  Oh, I forgot.  The getting something out of it thing stops working if there's something like coercion going on, but I highly doubt that applies to this situation.

Sorry to be the pessimist here, but you're most likely fucked.

Contrarily, he isn't fucked, and that is his problem.

I saw this part of The Office, too. It was just totally crazy when Pam's ex-fiance ran in and tried to kill Jim. Thank God Dwight was there with his pepper spray. Don't worry, dude, just date another girl for a year or so, and then ditch her and go back to this girl, and you will fall in love, get married, have a baby, etc. etc.

But seriously, relationships are fail. You don't want them. Youth is the time for manwhorishness. Wear a condom.

Okay, so, today this girl I know-Lauren, just took a sudden dis-interest in talking to me. Is she just on her period or something?

At least attempt to understand what he's going through. He openly admitted feelings to complete strangers, and you acted like a dick about it. If you can't say anything useful then GTFO.

He also openly admitted that he screwed up "one of his oldest friends'"'s relationship, so I don't think it's unreasonable that he be judged for that
