Goblin towers in dwarven forts
« on: March 08, 2010, 10:44:48 am »

So, while looking for a new site to erect put my fort I came across this...

I was rather confused, why the hell was a goblin tower in a dwarven fort? (or vice versa)

So it's not a goblin tower in a Dwarven fort, its a Dwarven fort in a Goblin Tower?

Hehe, funny. I once saw a human town amoungts some goblin towers, but not one with dwarves. You should embark on it with embark anywhere, and see what populates it. Probably whatever is there build their town on top of the dead town of what was there before them.

I don't mean to imply which is who ....

Have you looked at the two relevant civilizations in Legends? AFAIK you can look at the territorial expansion of both groups during the world's history. That might provide some clarification as to who got where first.

So this makes me wonder, do goblins expand by creating their towers with magic or do they actually have an orbital cannon which shoots the goblin towers towards the planets' surface (and thus suggesting the towers are actually DROP PODS?!)

Because I can't really believe dwarves would let a goblin mage create an obsidian tower on their ground

Holy schist, this thread is mica me sick.
DF Players never truly leave.  They just abandon the fortress for a few years and then reclaim.
