I'm going to be doing a Let's Play of SPORE from start to finish. But I need some help.

Does anybody have a NOCD for Spore 1.5.0001?
How can I compress my HD videos? Will I be uploading ~300MB videos for the rest of my life?

I don't know about those, but I will say you might want to establish your thread as not being for the discussion of Spore's quality as a game, because I can foresee a shitstorm if you don't.  Some people are very irrational about this game.

It also sounds like a neat idea, if hard to do.

Which is irrelevant. Asking for noCDs et al is heavily frowned upon on these boards. Linking to them is a bannable offence.

Wait, what? SPORE is always playable without a CD. At least mine didn't ask for it ever again after install.

The CD is used to install and that's about it.  The system locks your CD Key to your online account and periodically validates the install against their servers when you connect to the internet.  You have the privilege to install the game on up to three computers before it starts refusing to validate...but even that can be overcome by going through EA Customer Service.  Assuming you own a legal copy of the game, you need only install it and validate it against your online account.

I dunno what kind of participation, but I hope to have lots. Yes, I will be talking over my microphone thing.
You should expect me struggling to play the game, be forgetful and in all around be a laugh.
