I think he's town because Jim voted against the extension before he could possibly know whether or not the extension would be granted, thus implying that he's fine with a Kashyyk lynch.

He has no reason whatsoever to bus Kashyyk, if they're partners (because that implies that at least one of the guards is town, and the scumteam can't afford a random scum lynch today).  WIFOM clauses break whenever we're working with endgame scenarios.  Therefore Kashyyk is town.

... Really?  How do you know this?

If my argument fails, then it fails and I need to reconsider.  On the other hand, I often see things like "three requests, no objections" required to extend.  I don't understand your certainty.
