Answering some questions:
Every log/stone = one square/block of construction. To build a construction, you will need to build the walls *and* floors, floors will also count as a block.

O=DO
D = Door
This would take 16 wood.
One person would take 6 turns to build it, excluding nights. Two people would built it twice as fast... You get the idea.
Doors are built as part of the construction, and act as a Block that you can walk through.
I assume the up-triangles are mountains? And each tile is like a DF tile?
And it takes one log to make one tile of wooden building? Does that include roof and floor?
Does the first house built count as mine, and then future houses attract immigrants?
Do I need to acquire tools or should we assume we can chop / dig / build without worrying about it?
Do we leave the village map to get resources (hunt/chop/dig) or do we use resources already on the map?
Nay, up-triangles are trees - makes them stand out more than the DF ones. Otherwise, pretty much yes. Key is in the top right of each pic.
Roof doesn't count as needing material. One wood = one block, including roof.
First house is yours, more houses = activates immigration.
Don't worry about tools for cutting wood. You need tools for fishing and mining, though. one log can be turned into a fishing pole, one metal + one log = Mining pick.
When you get resources, the map doesnt change. Trees don't dissapear, so people cutting wood, for example, would stand next to trees.
I think you forgot me too.
Nay, I got you. =D.
