New morale rule: Internal walls count the same as a floor space if they are not shared and look nice/are logical. A town with a bunch of 36x36 rooms called mansions would be boring.

IE:
0=D=0
|+++|
|D0+|
|B|+|
0=0=0

Gives as much morale as:

0=D=0
|+++|
|+++|
|B++|
0===0

This allows more creativity in building houses, without sacrificing effectiveness.

For anyone wondering about who's the closest to gaining a new population point and the rate of population gain:
Death is closest at 58%.
Mephansteras  keeps getting bad rolls, and is furthest away. He is 31% of the way there.

Ah. A new day, but the same old house plan. I've got to get some bigger houses, but I guess I should finish my 'poor' district first the move onto some bigger houses. I wont be getting myself a house for awhile. I have made a bird friend. Very nice, very cosy. It seems to sleep next to me during the night. . . How . . . Odd. . .

Day Nine - Morning Results

Nirur Says: Barrels may start to decay around day 15. Statistically speaking, they should have a 75% chance of decaying each week, checked on a per-turn basis. It would be wise to have a granary up before then.

On farming: One farmer may work up to 25 fields. 5 fields may be built per worker-turn. Farms produce food every 7 days. At the end of that, a full load of 25 fields will give 70 food, meaning that the farmer will have produced 5 food per turn. Unlike in the previously stated system where the crop would be completely lost if the farmer was undilligent, a set of fields without a farmer will lose 10% of the crop for each turn it is unattented.
