I'm a fair fan of having things more structured, so that got my vote. However, I think it's better to just go with whatever you want the game to be. You might also think about having the old thread closed, and starting a new one, so you can edit the main post with your own ideas and title and such.

I prefer standardized, as it gives more depth to the game. It can also be harder to maintain however, so don't make it so structured you wear yourself out. Then again, I'm not even in that game, so why am I posting here?

Actually, I prefer a little standardization - I've actually standardized the game more since I've taken over. Not so much that I have to run immense calculations, though.

Yeah, it's been three days. PK will just sit there.

go to a guard ask him if i can go to my cell, or perhaps i could help to control the roit
3: Bob goes up to a guard and asks to help, but the guard dismisses his offer. However, the guards soon subdue the fight and Bob is free to return to his cell.

I'll search whatever areas I am allowed to enter, trying to determine where all important facilities are. If I am found by a guard, I'll claim to be lost, having run away from the fight.
5+1(observation)=6: Dragnar looks around, making a mental map of the jail. He manages to find a locker room (with the weapons locker), an armory, a kitchen, the guard dormitories, the exit (guarded and secured with a card+code lock) and the garage. He also improves his observation.

I'll see about stealthily picking some pockets to obtain more tickets from inmates.
6: Lek manages to rob his fellow inmates, obtaining three job tickets and becoming a Dabbling Thief.

Also. How do you guys want me to handle the skill levels in here? I can't give you +2 when you increase in skill, that'd make you ridiculously lucky - and then you'd soon have auto-6's. So what should I do - give you a chance of +2, what?

Hard to say about the skillup thing, maybe give a +1 only after you have 3-4 levels in a skill, then after that give an additional overshot defense or somesuch.

anyways, action for this next turn. Hmm.

Let's try evesdropping on my fellow prisoners, try and get some juicy tidbits of information to tell the guards

I guess... there are no overshots in this game.
1 = backfire, 2 = fail, 3 = almost always fail, 4 = sort of succeed, 5 = succeed, 6 = succeed gloriously

I shall search the path from the dormitories to the armory for cameras and use my piece of metal to cut the wires. Only do so if there are no guards in sight.

Please, no bonuses. RTD is already pretty busted. Even a +1 ruins the already very little of balance it got.
How about the skill levels just allow you to pull of more insane things in that field. Say, with a +1 to chemistry You could create some termite, while a +2 would give you an ability to create meth, et cetera =P

Now go to my cell and look for any gaurd rooms without guards and sneak inside to check whats inside and grab a gun or 2 if there are any, OH and dint forget the cell keys
