I don't know why we're discussing this but here

I'm 5'10", 150 pounds. I would make some comment about how you all are pencils or something but I'm actually not that big. Just dense. I think.

I might also be a hair fattier than I used to be.

Somewhere around 6' 4", about 150lbs last I checked, which was before I did all this healthy exercise biking to college and got a tad skinnier.

Someone guessed my height at 7 feet today. :V

Folks introducing me to the local deer herd while gardening. The youngest was even approaching us before the older ones started to move on. It was a nice moment.

Nice picture.
Do they try eating your garden? Deer in my area come at night and eat up things in the garden.

Oof, yeah. They sometimes munch flowers from the flower garden, and one year they ate a whole crop of tomatoes that were being left to vine ripen in a 24 hour period.

These days, they're mostly happy munching at the bird feeder, and on crab apples, hawthorne berries, and the occasional abandoned pear. I sorta don't mind sharing things, but a few of those tomatoes would've been nice, guys.

Yeah, I've heard that they can turn into pests pretty easily.

Not as bad as rabbits when you're trying to grow sunflowers, but few things are.

Between 5'5" and 5'6", 110-120 lbs (big range there, but I'm not sure).

I actually look very scrawny. A lot of the weight is lean muscle.
Duuuuude. You're taller than me! :D
Many people are taller than you, Tiri <_> [/grumpythoughts]
But I'm thin like a stick, but lean in musculature (only knew that I wasn't like a stick when people commented on my strength in martial arts post-sparring)

This is amazing and how does a deer feel and act around people? o_O

In my experience, they tend to waver between totally uncaring of your presence and somewhat skittish, with the occasional oddly friendly outlier.

Tiruin, most of the time Deer around here are skittish but still curious, as long as you don't appear threatening, and don't approach them directly.

In this case, most of them kept a casual eye on us, stopped to observe what we were doing briefly, then just resumed walking past. The youngest (slightly smaller, anyway) stayed close by. I walked a few steps indirectly closer, and talked with them a bit using a friendly tone. They started taking a few steps closer too, until maybe 5 or 6 paces away. Then they saw the others were leaving, and sorta looked back to us, then headed on with the group.

It's the first time I've seen one more curious than afraid, but they live in a heavily populated and fairly safe neighborhood, where hunting isn't allowed. This group might be used to people, and might not see us as a major threat.

Found this on my student government's homepage. You could say that I'm pretty involved in student government.

Well, the body that this picture is from deals with a lot of higher level stuff. They make large funding and policy decisions on campus. It's the primary student voice on campus.
