An event that happens in February and consists of getting together, listening to bands, and drinking socially while ordering from bars carved from ice.  Also contains rather beautiful ice sculptures.

A rather nice Eiffel Tower sculpture, and no, I have no idea who those women are, they simply got in the way.

This is a well-crafted fireplace made of ice.  It has a picture of flames engraved on it.  It menaces with spikes of cold.

An old-style U.S. Highway sign.

The small town of Askov, MN has Danish street names, dating back to when the town was rebuilt by a Danish group after the town was destroyed in the Great Hinckley Fire.

A really fucking weird one

We got him his own cheap computer when he was 4, because he was the only person in the family who didn't have one and that wasn't working out.

I set him up with a customized desktop so that I could control what he had access to.  This included a couple links to youtube searches for his favorite characters, because he was constantly bugging his brother to let him watch videos on this computer about Mario, Iron-Man, etc.

Within a couple months, he had figured out how to look up creepypasta videos, and was watching them constantly.  Weird disturbing stories with zombie versions of MLP and Nintendo characters and stuff.  And Slenderman quickly became his new favorite thing, and still is.

This troubled me a bit... but I don't believe in censorship and I had no idea what this could lead to, so I decided to wait and see if I noticed anything really bad coming of it.  And nothing has yet.  He's just a natural born horror fan, with an impervious psyche.
