Turns out him and his friend (cosplaying as GRRM) were really talented VAs. That was a fun conversation!
I was really impressed by this, seeing as how most homestuck cosplayers at AWA just sort of threw some shit on and stuck some horns on
Sos I walk up to this girl, without noticing the chainsaw hand, right?
"Sweet cosplay, Seras Victoria, right?"

First she stared at me, then when I apologized she threatened to hurt me if I didn't get it right. After a second I noticed the chainsaw hand, and guessed Ash (or Ashley in this case, I guess) from Evil Dead, which meant I got a picture with her and her friend cosplaying as Fluttershy.
This kind of juxtaposition is what makes me happy at cons.
I complimented her on the JoJo cosplay, which started a conversation during which I became painfully aware of just how crazy shitfaced she was. Choice excerpts:
"Jojo, man? IT MAKES M-, MY FUCKIN' DIAMOND! IT MAKES IT FUCKIN' UNBREAAAAAKABLE!"
"So where should I start in JoJo?"
"T-,the BEGINNING! because it's all so FUCKING GOOOOD"
At which point I asked her to take her "most retarded jojo pose," and she gave me this.

my friend to the left was cosplaying as Medusa ("Wasn't she blonde tho" "Not in the Manga"), and even though I didn't take a picture I literally only saw one other Medusa that was as good as her.

The Kanaya had a homemade chainsaw covered in purple Eridan blood ("I don't really know what pose to do" "Give me a pose like you just killed the biggest douchebag in the universe"), which is what really got me to take the picture.

Definitely one of my favourite moments from the con. He was standing in front of the pre-reg line smiling a blank smile, and would give someone a quest if they came up to him

I didn't have all that much of a reason for this, other than the fact that it was a fantastic Mindfang
