Why so?  I passlocked the archive of my Death and Glory stint with Glibitikusree when I needed to transfer it to a different computer.

Didn't help me that I managed to forget the password sometime later.

I have a surprisingly scant amount of smut on my computer... in fact, I don't believe I've had any on it for some time. I've got a rather low libido, so it seems. *shrugs*

I dare say you guys are awfully inventive with methods to squirrel it away though, and I can appreciate that. If you care to add an extra layer of encryption, just erase and rewrite their file extension with something unused by any other format, and which you could do a wildcard search for (*.prn or whatever) so that no one will recognize it as an image file, should you be worried that someone will come snooping around your hard drive with the express purpose of digging up dirt on you or whatever.
