Well, I'm the only one alive.  I suppose I'll have to get rid of it.

...No, wait, we never agreed on that code, did we?  Ah well, I'll just hammer No Lynch then.

Also... most of what I said yesterday was true.  Just replace "Vector" with "Leafsnail" and "Inteuniso" with "Pandarsenic" and you would've won.  Ah well.  Your souls are mine.

I've really enjoyed this game :D.

It is now night.  The final day shall begin shortly.

The day begins with everyone as they were when they began: alive and unsure of their situation.  However, one thing has changed.

Leafsnail is seated on a well made but plain throne-there were no furnishings up to now, not even a table or chair.  Smiling, he glances up at the ceiling where the bells hang.  At the moment, 4 of the 5 continue to ring softly.

Webadict glares up at the seated person, "What's going on?  Why didn't you die yesterday?  Why are we here?  Why do we keep dying and coming back?  Why.."

Leafsnail raises a hand, silencing the other, "Answering everything will take so much time, though now, we have all the time we need and more.  But for now, we have work to do."

Before anyone else could reply, the fifth bell starts to ring.  Similar to the others, the bell rings with a painful roar.  Unlike the other times, the four bells that were already active rang to match the fifth.

Pain wracked the entire group, excluding Leafsnail who simply watched.  Within a minute, each one fell to the floor, dead.

After ten minutes, the bells quieted down to a soft ring, and Leafsnail watched casually as each person opened their eyes.

"The ritual is complete.  Until now I've had to use my powers to keep you alive directly, at the risk to myself." Leafsnail told the others,  "Now the fully empowered bells shall do that for me.  Along with th..."

The bullet from RedWarrior0's gun traveled strait for Leafsnail's head.

Leafsnail sighed, waved the bullet away-which had stopped just before hitting his forehead-and continued, "ALONG with this, your lives shall serve as a continual source of my power and my immortality."

"Do not fear.  I shall provide you with whatever foods, tools, and...things... you may like.  Since you will remain here to forever die and return each day, you might as well enjoy the rest of your time."

The prisoners expected mocking laughter, but instead Leafsnail simply looked, content.  With the soft, haunting sound of the 5 bells, he remained to discuss about himself and their situation for the rest of the day openly and provided whatever they asked for-even to the point of turning the small room into a mansion under a clear sky.  When he left for the night, however, they notice that the 5 bells were still visible in the ceiling of the main living room.

And they realize that now, there is nothing they can do to save themselves.

The game is over, Leafsnail, Endless Witch, has won.

The roles:
Pandarsenic:

You are a redirector.

Each night, you may redirect another person's actions.

You win when...

Zai
You are a poisoner.

During the day, you may poison another player.  That player will die durin the following night.

You win when...

ineuniso
You are a doctor

Each night you may protect one person.  That person will be protected against kills.  Your protection workss against multiple kill attempts (in most games, it only protects against one kill).

You win when...

Vector
You are the anti-Doctor

Each night, you may reverse the protections on a person:

If they are not protected against kills, you will protect them.

If they are being protected against kills, you kill them.

When protecting, you will stop all attempts to kill the person (unlike other games where you can only stop one kill).

You win when...

Webadict
You are the Copycat

You may copy the actions of the person you choose each night.  You will not be told directly what you have done.  You will choose both the person you are copying and the target of your action.

You win when...

ExKirby

You are a doublekiller.

Each night, you may kill two different people.

You win when...

RedWarrior0

You are a Supersaint Daykiller

Each day, you may choose to kill one person.  No one will know that you were the one to have made the kill.

Also, if you are lynched, the last person to vote for you will die with you.

You win when...

Mr.Person

You are the CPR Doctor

During the night, you may target one player:

- If they are the target of a nightkill, you will save them

- If they are not targetted, you will kill them.

You win when...

Note: the final sentence was: You win when everyone, including you, is dead.

Leafsnail:

Welcome to your domain.

You are the Endless Witch.  You are the one to have brought these people into this place.  Low lifes, killers, and manipulators all of them.  They will serve your plans.

They wonder what is the purpose of those bells.. you know that purpose:

So long as all 9 individuals, including yourself live, one of the bells will start ringing, one per day.  There is no way to silence a bell once it starts.  Once all 5 bells ring, their souls shall be yours granting you limitless power over the world!

This may prove difficult, however as they seem content to kill each other and taking their weapons away is currently beyond you.  However, you have some magic to aid you.  Note that you can use both powers at the same time if it suits you.

1. Restore:  Once every night, you may choose to Restore as many people as you wish, other than yourself.  If they will die that night then they will revive instantly.  If they are already dead, they will be brought back to life.  This is unaffected by roleblocks, redirects, and other powers.

Note that you must be alive at the start of the night to use this power.

2. Revive: Once every night, you may choose to Revive yourself, using another person as a sacrifice. Note that this process only occurs in the morning, after all other actions have been done.  If you are currently alive then you will revive if you are killed that night.  If you are dead, you may still use this power to bring yourself back to life.

- This power can be affected by player powers.

- If, for some reason, your choice cannot be used as the sacrifice, a random choice will be made instead.  This power can only be truly stopped when no one else is alive.

- Even if you didn't need the revive, the sacrifice is still killed.

To simplify all that: you have two skills that you can use at the same time:

1. You can revive as many people as you wish.  If they are dead or are killed they will be brought back to life.

2. You can kill another player, which will bring you back to life if you are already dead or killed that night.  If the kill is stopped, a random person is killed.

(note, the original PM didn't have this though it was meant to be known from the start.. meh to me) 3. Once a sacrifice is made while you are dead, the time that you revive is up to you.  You may revive instantly or at any moment after the sacrifice upon PM or quicktopic request.  The moment you revive is at the point of your post: at that point, you are alive and can act accordingly, even before I confirm the action.

If everyone is dead, including you, you will lose.  If you can cause all 5 bells to ring before then you will win.

You were right in every sense except that I was the one who needed to be dayvigged.  So... you sorta broke the bastard element, but didn't find the serial killer reviver.

The basic quirks of the game.

Similar to other bastard games: the concept revolved around a town that was given far too little information and scum that knows nearly everything.  In this game, the scum, Leafnsail, knew of the method to win and lose, but not the powers of the players or of what the players knew.

Meanwhile, the town knew that there was a puzzle, and that they could trust what they were told (so no worries about killing roles that don't kill or not knowing their alignment.. yes, the "scum know they are scum" was meant to mean "yes, you are town!" AND "yes, there is a scum").  I also wanted the town to know that there was an enemy among them and that finding them was part of the key to winning.

The (assumed) method to win:

The game was set so that the town would lose if they failed to figure out the trick to the game.  Thus why the Endless Witch is so incredibly powerful.  So long as Leafsnail remained unspotted, there was almost no way to stop him.  As such, the first trick was to find him out.

In truth, I'm surprised he WASN'T found out.  There were a few clues (including a few I didn't realize I placed) that showed him out:

1. The roleflip-on-lynch.  It was noticed that the person who was lynched roleflipped.  However, the assumption that it didn't show alignment HURT BADLY.  Yes, a 'town/mafia' never showed up.  However, while everyone had 'known' roles like antidoctor and redirector, Leafsnail would've flipped 'Endless Witch' which I'm SURE would've been a big red flag even before he fakeclaimed.

2. Knowledge.  This was the Pandarsenic scumtell of Don't Out Guess The Mod.  The person that seems to know the most isn't town since the town is 'uninformed'.  Note Leafsnail's discussion after his revive and on the second to last day wasn't the only "hmm maybe it's like this" talk but that should've made people wonder about him.

3. The revivals.  This wasn't planned by me but ..well... didn't anyone find it odd that Leafsnail didn't revive after Night 1 but revived after Night 3 and THAT's when the next bell rang?  Yes the system didn't exactly work that way, but I'm surprised no one wondered if leafsnail was somehow linked to the bells.  At first, people assumed he was permanently killed (which made sense) but never thought of it again once it showed he WASN'T permkilled.

In any case, once he was IDed, the idea was for everyone to kill themselves in one night while killing Leafnsail during the day.  It was funny that people fussed about the doctor when the idea was for the doctor and antidoc to target the same person, thus resulting in a kill.  Although the Redirector wasn't NEEDED, the original idea was for him to Redirect the CPRdoc to themself.

Also, another thing - if you hadn't MCed while I was dead, I would've probably been fucked.  I would've had to guess a kind of killing/ manipulating role that fitted well into the ones before me and that wouldn't be repeated in the ons afterwards.  Doing it while I was dead gave me time to choose the perfect falseclaim.

Sidenote:  Thanks for CobaltKobold for the commentary.  The Huzzahs cracked me up for some reason :D.

And yes, a BIG reason why the town lost was in the lack of trust in Webadict once he figured out the puzzle.

Another BIG reason was the inactivity though.  You guys were planning things up VERY well D5 and asked for an extension to cement it.  if you had followed through you probably would've had a plan that might've turned things around.

However, when I saw that the ENTIRE EXTENDED DAY went to inactivity I knew it was all but over.

Hmm, is there a commentary chat then?

By the way - if you want inane ramblings and Death Note references, there's nowhere beter to go than the Bellsounder Chat.
