What's the difference?
There's about 3 times as much salt in something as there is sodium.  Therefore listing sodium makes it seem better.

No, between fast food and ready meals.

You buy fast food from somewhere and then take it home and eat it or eat it there.

You buy ready meals from a shop, take it home and spend a little while cooking it.

Isn't much difference, yeah.

Semantics really, here in the states it's tv/microwavable dinners. Either way it's still shit for you, even most of the ones that pretend to be healthy.

Am I the only one here who actually lives in the United States?  We do in fact know what stoves are, and make great use of them.

Fast food is still great, because any amount of effort spent cooking is often more effort than I want to exert.  You know why Americans are fat?  Because we can afford to be, you broke bastards, and you would be too if you were us.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
;)

That's a joke, spoilered so you read this first. Yes, we are American, as we said earlier.

We have those too, they're called TV dinners.

Kind of a whole separate thing, really.

Then stop validating the idiotic americalol image of human cattle lining up at lard troughs and tell them about our awesome food.  Creole is all ours, we revolutionized the Turkish barbeque, and Mexican food does count since it wasn't made in Europe.  Oh yeah, and buffalo steaks.  Mmm-boy.

The vast majority of Chinese food was invented at the World's Fair in San Francisco.

I don't know how they Chinese avoided starving the few thousand years before we made everything they eat.

But yeah, I too am annoyed by the way 90% of discussions of this sort are waged by people who have never been to America but insist they know enough about it to tell us how we do or should do things.

Thai food was invented in Greenwich Village.  People in Thailand would find it bland and uninspiring.

I don't care too much about being interpreted as fat or whatever because I'm not. It isn't like I haven't been gawked here in the States  for growing up in american-percieved fag/high dutchland and transexual thailand.

I just roll with the stereotypes and prove them wrong while laughing at them.

Also, chicago style pizza > NY and italian.

Chicago style is the kind you have to eat with silverware right?

That stuff sucks, I like my pizza like I like my cardboard.

Made of cardboard.

Nah man, you just haven't been properly converted yet. Some independently owned pizza places are good for NY style, but I'm talking deep dish pie you have to wrap your face around -unlike Dominoes "at least we admit our pizza is terrible" junk.
