Dwarfy Recipes we can make in real life.
« on: December 30, 2009, 06:27:05 pm »

In between trying to hit puberty and grow beards and trying to dig into mountains, we need some Dwarfy food! So, anyone know any good Dwarf recipes?

I might make a DF cooking show so could someone go over ingame recipes?

cat tallow bisquits and plump helmet stew?

Hmm, the last could be made IRL if you interpret it less literary...

Do Dwarves  cook or do they prepare, I am not sure they are cooking because shouldn't that require them to take a log to the kitchen if they where.

I think food should be updated the same time cultures are food is a part of culture

Try looking at Italian recipies, they use mushrooms. I think I've heard of some kind of mushroom soup, might have been Italian.

Roasted _____________ = Dwarfy.

Get out the slow-cooker, throw whatever in in your fridge in, and away you go.

Some of them are quite delicious.

I once had a roast that was made of cow cheese, beef, and bloated tubers (potatoes).

Steak and potatoes topped with cheese!   :D

Curse you. I was going to post that.

Just take as much honey as you can find, pour it over sugar, add a little wine, and wait until it's all hardened.

Eh, maybe get some some bitter tint wine, pour it over melted sugar (or melt the sugar poring wine over it as you do it), then just stick it in the fridge and see what it turns into, the tint wine's bitterness should counter the sugary sugarness a bit. I think it'd get too messy if you added honey on it.

I sorta wanna try this when no one's home  ::)
