Bastard Moderator is indeed an absolutely brilliant role, but extremely abusable, which is a pity, because it's potentially hilarious when used right.


I found it most amusing when Apostolic made it so that there were no Mafia; there weren't any Mafia to begin with. That was easy.


And yes, the ExKirby replacement was indeed built into his role, although it was fairly vague as to exactly how it would work, it turned out rather well.



Finally, i had the following universal rules:

1 - Anything can be Voted for.
Anything. Apply appropriate lynch results if a non-player is lynched.

2 - Don't Give the Mod Ideas.
No really, don't. Any player may propose an amusing idea, either knowingly or not.

3 - Everyone Loves Magical Trevor
Because the things that he does are ever so clever.

Vector needs to run some sort of symbolic game.

I keep thinking about it, but I'm having trouble working out the mechanics and turning it into a proper game.  It'd certainly be a weird one.

Yeah, I was thinking of doing something with a flavortexting mechanic thrown in, in a sort of bastard-mod puzzle thing.  I'm not sure I really want to do fully free-form, though.  Time constraints and all that.

1) How the cult won by dying

The night Apostolic killed Leafsnail should have ended the Cult, but that same night MagmaDeath searched Leafsnail's apartment and got his role powers. I had considered this in passing previously, and had decided that should this occur, MagmaDeath would become a second Cult Leader, requiring both to die to finish the Cult. I didn't expect Leafsnail to die and MagmaDeath to immediately take his place however

2) That night you said you'd have to post

That was the aforementioned night, when Apostolic's PM came in i thought it was all over and it would just be a SK hunt, but when MagmaDeath's PM came in my jaw hit the floor. I absolutely did not see that coming.

Then Leafsnail recruited me into the cult and put a cherry on the cake

3) How Neruz the mod being recruited to the cult was within the rules?

It wasn't something i'd originally considered, but as per Rule 1 i was a legitimate vote target, so i decided that i'd also be a legitimate night action target (made sense to me). This was after i was voted for the first time.

The cult recruitment i did not expect, but since i'd already determined that i was a valid night action target, i had to conclude that meant i was now technically a cultist.

What in the heck does this mean?

If you don't get the reference, don't bother. It's just me being silly.

The funny thing was, I lost from recruiting AN, as I had Tehstefan's affiliation, Town.
Still, it was a great game.
Insane, but great.

Actually the Hypnotist was Town, that was some of the bastardry; a town role had to be lynched for the town to win.

AN and the other things were just there to form a smokescreen so that no-one would notice until it was too late.
