Single Parent Immigrant Remarried

This is the first time I have seen this happen.  I did not think it was possible.  I got a male immigrant with two children.  I have seen that before.  What I have never seen before is that he just got married.

Stonecrafter Zasit Bellsseed now has:

Wife: Peasant Zulban Webcrafted
Only Son: Child Athel Spearcrabs
Only Daughter: Child Lor Tradedomains

The wife shows no children, and the children show no mother.

Hmm, I've never had this happen nor heard of this before. That's odd, maybe they are adopted.

It's because when he was created at immigration, he was never assigned a wife. So as far as the game is concerned, he never had a wife and was thus free to marry. It happens sometimes.

I wish it would happen more often.  I have had good workers who came in as single parents and never gotten married, and I mourned that they never had more children.

I would like to see dwarves getting remarried more often, perhaps making it more difficult to establish/keep going than their first relationship.

Do dwarves have break-ups?

I don't think they ever break up right now.

Maybe after a time of mourning (made shorter by a legendary dining room, of course  :D ), the more gregarious Dwarves could try again, if they can find someone their own age.

Dwarves are loyal from the first kiss, forever.  If they ever get googly-eyed at anyone, even if that special someone burns to a crisp the very next instant (or fifty years later), they'll never fall in love again.
