Lucky 1000th! Just sayin'. Go back to your regularly scheduled talking now.

Dakarian's last post in the 1st Quarter Attendance was post #299. We were so close to 300...

By definition that makes you a fan since you still buy them.

Finally got around to updating this. Everything look ok?

Also, should I start sign-ups for Paranormal 15 or hold off for a bit?

Personally, I'd love to see it, but I don't speak for others.  Not being in or watching any running games is kind of strange.  My DF Mafia email folder is all sad and lonely.  Whenever you start it up, I'll be in'ing.

On that note, if there's anyone about looking for a game, check out Vote Mafia!  It's fun, I promise!

Would anyone be interested in a Monks and Masons game?  I've quite liked the idea of it, since it doesn't get dominated by PRs, but involves unique tactics for both town and scum.  Basic setup:

8 townies
2 mafia
2 werewolves

The following roles are randomly distributed among the non-werewolf players:
2 monks

The following roles are randomly distributed among the non-mafia players:
2 masons

Additional rules:
Usually all four groups can only night chat, but there's nothing to stop it being daychat, I guess.
The first crosskill in each direction fails.  So the first time a mafia kills a werewolf nothing happens, and vice versa.  After that crosskills happen as normal.  This rule isn't necessary, but I quite like it, as it makes the setup less swingy.
Kills are distinguishable - werewolf kills will show up as "savaged" while mafia kills will show up as "shot".  If both target one person, they will be "bitten and shot".

Anyone interested?

So, it possible for non-mafia masons and non-werewolf monks?

Sounds good.

Yeah, basically, the monks are confirmed non-werewolf to each other, and the masons are confirmed non-mafia to each other.  You do get Mafia Monks and Werewolf Masons though.

Okay. Just make sure you don't roll double Mafia-Monks and vice versa.

I suppose you CAN get mason monks.  That'd be... interesting.  Especially in the setup Neruz described, since both mafia groups would have them down as a potential target.  Put Monks & Masons somewhere in the queue, please.

I've also had an idea for a bastard mod, which I've called Hangman for no real reason.  It'd have 9 players, and I could run it sometime, since there don't seem to be any bastard games in queue at the moment.  It's sortof like Bellsounder in nature (in that the mod will tell the truth but not the whole truth to players) and I've talked to dakarian a bit about the setup.  Would anyone be interested in a b mod?

YES VECTOR SHALL PLAY

Also run B12 at some point.  Vector will play that, too.
