Much like everyone else, I expected it to be something similar.

I was expecting a human farm of sorts, maybe raised by elves or something; actually, I can't believe I'm saying this, making the Elves an interesting prospect to play in those regards. Agter all, they are humanitarians.

Otherwise, I was alternatively thinking there was going to be some farming in regards to human and carp and attempts to crossbreed them, harvest their bones, and make a totem factory out of it.

Now there's a fun way to earn millions of bucks.

Yet another problem. My little village got attacked by 4 giant wolf spiders. I have many, many corpses and I have no time to deal with them. Is there any way to dump corpses to the dug mass grave?

Problem solved, my humans didn't dump corpses because they were outside (changed this in (o)rders). My hardened veterans are now busy with the werewolves, orc siege and bears.

Your building the breadbasket of the world in a sinister envirmonment?

Sounds FUN

Rather than having them directly force you to mine adamantine, I would suggest that they give you strange moods that require adamantine. "Dig out the adamantine or Urist here goes insane and dies" is suitably vicious.

(It occurs to me that you can probably get "Lovecraft" as the random name of your fortress. That's when you know you're screwed.)

Oh yes it is! While my werewolf hunter was killing the beasts in the forest two giant wolf spiders sneaked into the town and killed his wife.

Just add [CIV_CONTROLLABLE], nothing else was changed (well, the orcs were). Also the graveyard is getting bigger than the buildings.

And why should I do it? Having one alone guard with a crossbow fighting the goblin ambush in the forest is FUN (but everyone else running to get his +rope reed sock+ is not). Also, my carpenters are too busy with the sewerage to build walls.

Dear Armok, when this finally gets implemented there will no doubt be utter hilarity.

It should be pretty fun though.
