It's a noteworthy project, at least as noteworthy as a lot of the stuff I see on late night PBS.  Here's hoping we see DF and its creators on the big screen.  If it brings in a ton of money, then I guess they'll... well... retire to Fiji and abandon the project?

In case anyone wasn't aware, King of Kong is a documentary about arcade game champions.

Well, Toady's work is definitely a lot more research-worthy than people playing such an ancient and uncomplicated game. Harder to spin a compelling story out of, though.

You must be joking.  Math professor gets a strange mood, quits his job, and begins a mysterious construction.  Eventually his game gets enough of a fanbase that he lives month by month by donations.  It seems pretty interesting to me.

And then Scamps bursts through the wall, Kool-aid style, and rips the dumbdowners to shreds. Then Scamps bites Toady's finger, ans Toady sings to Scamps.
