I always figured his wife or some other woman he knew actually had missing teeth, and he didn't realise this.

Considering how much Aristotle contributed to the ancient scientific method and higher learning in general, he had some seriously dumb ideas at times. Like, fairly often. For no real reason other than spite.

And then there's Democritus over here pulling atomic theory out of his goddamn ass...

Well, actually, in the time of the Greek philosophers, the idea was that humans could come up with the correct explanations for everything by just sitting in a dark cellar pondering about things. Empirical evidence and the scientific method as we now know it came around much later, which is the reason for crazy ideas like these.

Thus we see that it cannot be that my dick possesses a unique form in its Platonic solidity, so we must then posit, what if dick orbits your wife?
If we posit that dicks are a species or type of object which orbits your wife, united by their common form of phallic rigidity so favoured by your wife, this would mean that concurrently your wife is a dick magnet, a unique attracter of dicks, who is somehow capable of distinguishing between dick and non-dick species with extreme discrimination. This love for dick is an attraction to the incorporeal nature of the dick, which theretofore the arrival of the Romans, was indistinct from other attractions. Yet if distinction exists, then distinction must be made to the opposition to the dick, a rejection of love for the beauty of the female form in favour of dicks. With this distinction it becomes apparent that it cannot be true that your wife has a love of natural beauty, but a gay love of dicks, which must mean that your wife is gay for all the dicks of the Pelopponese. As you are married in a gay marriage, it must ultimately stand to reason that you are as gay, if not moreso, than your wife.

Lost my phone last night like a big stupid idiot. I had no reason to stay out so late anyway.

Man, that was dumb. I miss my phone. And all the months of notes and such it had on it...   
I think next time I get a phone (a much newer one, probably) I will make sure to set up whatever phone-tracking things people use. And perhaps back up my notes etcetera online. Or just stop taking notes on my phone in any case.

I am very stressed right now, but even if this hadn't happened I would probably be stressed anyway. I can't remember the last time I wasn't stressed about something. There's always some sort of obligation or expectation looming on the horizon, even if I'm not consciously thinking about it. This year has been kind of shit, overall.
