What type of life you lead is secondary - so long as you have faith in Jesus, you're fine. You get a ticket for the angel/saint joy ride at the front gate.
The only people who believe that are antitheists criticising Christianity
That's, uh...demonstrably not true.

It might not be a mainstream belief, but you do have your sects which claim that Hitler is in heaven while Stephen Hawking will burn in hell.

Heiterverzweiflung. Not a legit German word so much as something a friend and I made up in German class once. "Carefree despair". When life is so fucked that you can't stop laughing.

Hitler was religious, Hawking is, understandably, not.

I'm babysitting siblings tonight, and finally wrest away control of the television long enough to switch to Big Hero Six from Jake and the Neverland Pirates. Only thing is that I'm already getting very emotional about this movie and we haven't even gotten to the sad part. :(

(It's amazing how I can get way more emotional about television and film than basically anything in real life.)

It's because real life is boring... in my experience, anyway.
And if you had a life as exciting as most films and other media you'd probably get burnt out on that pretty quick from all the emotional stress. :P

Real life typically isn't as dramatic as a movie, depending on where you live and what your qualities of life are.

Additionally movies can be directed to provide as emotional an impact as possible, whereas real life just sorta happens and doesn't care what your reaction to it is.
