For reference, round here, 26° is warm, bordering hot weather.

We are talking Celsius, right ? Not one of those heretical units ?

Maybe it's 26 K where Japa lives. That would explain a lot of things.

26 celcius. It's not winter temperature, but it is "I don't wanna take a cold shower" temperature.

Finally watching The Theory of Everything, a dramatic film about Stephen Hawking. He's not exactly an idol or hero to me, but he's a symbol of my personal dream. If he can rise to the level that he has because a computer system allows him to talk and express his ideas, then maybe I can also create something that will help somebody in a similarly dramatic way.

Anyways, the film sucks so far. First ten minutes' impression, it's just a bone-dry "quirky intelligent underdog gets TEH GURL OF HIZ DREEMZ"  and then tragedy strikes. Honestly, Hawking (the documentary) painted a more dramatic and endearing picture of him than the movie has so far.

Bwahaha 31 Celsius here right now.  It's actually a bit cooler now than it will be for the next few days.   Oranges come from here, you should know this Mr Wizard :P.

But yea, India can get pretty hot, I would not be surprised if 26 is cold to somebody who is there all day every day :P

Twenty-one and the middle of winter. It's actually nerve-wrcking; it's rained very, very little this winter, so much so that I'm worriedd about water levels.

I go out of my way to try to stay under 20ºC.

26ºC is about the highest temperature I would call comfortable, though I'd ideally have a crisp 17º or 18º, at least when out of doors.

Eh, my impression is that the problem is more the lack of precipitation in the winter. Less snowfall in the mountains = less snowmelt in the warmer months = less water throughout the year. I don't ever remember summers being particularly damp around here even before the current situation.
