Maaaan, I wish our old-people culture was more had in your place :<
We (generally) have kind elders who don't be condescending and closed-minded.

Tru, when you grow older, be an awesome person that inspires others, because those people are what change the world.

Off topic, but out of curiosity...  Why don't you want to be quoted, Truean?  And are non-hyperlink quotes okay or what?  I probably wasn't following these threads whenever the discussion happened, sorry.

I'm listening to Sabaton and realising just how badly I miss wargaming. Nothing quite like lining up hundred of little lead people and spending four hours rolling dice and painstakingly measuring out inches to simulate the grand scope of pre-battle strategy and battle tactics.
I'd ask you to play some Crossfire with me, but it sounds like you actually enjoy that whole four hours of measuring stuff. :P
Only slightly, heh. It's kind of fun, but I could do without it. Moving the figures physically is satisfying, as is rolling millions of dice.
Heh, I do agree that keeping track of stuff is its own reward. :3 But I did end up enjoying Crossfire the most out of any other wargame I've played because of the measurement free movement.

Probably just as well Toady blocked the Wayback Machine, then.

I don't know what this is, and that rattles me.

Which makes Truean's post funny, 'cos all of the elders of this forum are grumpy and- OH MY GOD I'M COMING UP ON TEN YEARS HERE.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

Wayback machine can be used to look at old versions of websites.
Toady blocked it for guzzling up bandwidth.

Swore to myself that I wouldn't buy Total War: Attilla, 'cos it seemed like a DLC.
But all the reviews are Raaave.

Playing a beautiful game of wargame: red dragon, helped bring back the game from the brink of defeat with a danish mechanized deck, when I have to leave. Ahwell, I hope my two remaining teammates managed to win.

I missed my normal bus for reasons.
Got nothing to do for 20 minutes.
Waiting in the cheap metal pavillion.
Its more to stop rain and ninja muggers than cold and snow
Snow bitter cold snowflakes the size of my fingernails
5 minutes ago a mother came by.
3 kids without gloves.
Mothers speaking spanish
I hear 'oh my god' and 'just shut up' a lot
the 2 boys look sad, the girl is bawling.
They take the pavillion beside me.
She hugs them into her thighs.

I cant help :(

Wouldn't it be easier to have a rule against doxxing Truean.

Which would be great in court, but not so great for everything else, including their rep.
If someone wants to throw dirt, it's surprisingly easy to get the 'unlawful' information into very neutral hands.

No, the easiest thing would be to just not quote her. So get rid of that crap in your other post.

Or at the very least remove the link to her post (and her name on it).

Sad: a weekend of convention food is coming back to haunt me, and so I have to miss my writing class.
