I feel the same way about work as I did school; I really don't want to go, but once I get there, I put on my game face and I'm fine.

I like learning but I don't like school.
The two are not related.

I like school, I just dislike the people that go to my school.

I like learning.
School is a place where they do learning.
Bad things:
It is limited by the curriculum however -_- Its less of 'how much you learn' and more of 'ace these quizzes and we credit you with knowing this forever'...despite the timeframe given to 'prove' the self.

Then there are the people in contact...depending on the culture and other factors, this is rather a bigger one in most cases.
The last one was why I hated elementary/HS.
Many people were jerks...I'm glad I met those who weren't.
Though treat it as a temporary thing currently in the year-frame, people-who-hate-school. People are prone to change unless they have counter-knowledge (ie People teaching you to smoke; you know smoking is bad...hypothetical scenario :P).

Keep on loving learning.

Damnation. A housing lead I'd been working on turned out to be a manipulative parent trying to screw her son out of an apartment so that he'd be forced to live at home. This is upsetting on several levels.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I hope so. Glad you got out, Vector. Hooray for functioning detectors?

Isn't there a way to stop feeling horrible all the time and intrusive thoughts?
Like, something you do and it all goes away?
Guys?
Please tell me there is.
Please guys
Awwwwww, now I just want to give you hugs.
But more to the point, you should try deep breathing (4 sec in, 4 sec hold, 4 sec out, 4sec hold repeat) and trust me on this, those thoughts do not go away quickly and feeling horrible is not something you can fix easily, try sometimes to slow down and calming yourself helps a lot too after a while.
Medication also may seem like the only choice as well but that stuff is more a last resort than anything else.

Talking to friends helps as well, you know.
I don't really know

Secondeded. Poisoning == Bad.

You can't really "do" anything about it. You need to change the way you think, and that's really, really hard.
I would honestly recommend some kind of professional help, if you can afford it.
At the risk of sounding horribly clichéd, it might be "just a phase" you're going through, and you'll feel better soon (ish). I wouldn't count on it, though. Doing nothing is a last resort.

Short version: Think differently. Easy to say, hard to do.

Long version: Think about why you think that way. Find the reason why you have those intrusive thoughts and feel horrible. Recognize that you get those thoughts, but that they are basically meaningless thoughts that have been so ingrained on your mind that you think them without meaning to think them. Then make an effort to think the opposite of those thoughts. Whenever you find yourself with an intrusive thought or thinking "I'm bad." or whatever, stop, recognize that you just automatically thought that, recognize that it's a meaningless and mindless reaction, then think the opposite. This is basically what my psychologist recommended for me to deal with my incessant "impossible-to-achieve-standards" perfectionism.

Longer version: Cognitive behavioral therapy, " a psychotherapeutic approach that addresses dysfunctional emotions, maladaptive behaviors and cognitive processes and contents through a number of goal-oriented, explicit systematic procedures." This is basically what I've described, but not paraphrased and with lots of technical mumbo jumbo.

And now my good old friends are back...
Stomach pains, nausea, disorientation, and feeling like I'm about to faint.

This is causing me physical pain.
You mention this right when... right when I'm struck by a similar feeling?
Hmm. Must be coincidence.

I think I'm finding it harder and harder to reach out to people.
Which is even worse when I'm worrying about them.
