Looking over my stuff, I'm kinda sad I lost some of my books. Especially the one, "Why do Filipinos read books upside down?"(title translated to English). It was a pretty nice book full of Filipino humor and satire. Plus the cover is upside down.

Oh please do.

I actually think we need a humor thread. Like, the indigenous humor from various places, not the general one.

I want to make one, but the last thread I made went down today in horrible fire, and I don't want to tempt fate again.

We had one. At least one, anyway, there were probably others. It would appear the happy thread ate it.

E: There also appears to have been a much longer terrible jokes thread.

Politics is a whole different forum of humor.
Now indigenous humor! That's a good thread (...Though I'm unsure, I've heard [not from ours or us] that there are humor things like dark or black humor :v I doubt that is indigenous humor though)

I completely fucked up co-op in Dark Souls II. We beat the boss but immediately after I accidentally teamkilled both the host and the other summoned player.

But... but that's hilarious! Why is it in this thread?
Reminds me, I need to get gud at that game.

How do you expect an 'Indigenous Humour" thread to be funny? It's going to be full of jokes in one's own language (incomprehensible to muggles) and then explanations.
Also, puns (almost) never translate well.

I'm curious too, but it wouldn't be especially funny.
I've been curious ever since I saw two stand-up comedians, one from France and one from Québec, doing a number on stage. The one from Québec kept mentioning that French humorists have a tendency to tell a story to a second (fake) character. And I realised professional french comedians tend to do that a lot, yeah.
