Yes, Anita wants to take away all the fun in video games ever! Get her!

There is no eye roll emoticon big enough for my feelings right now.
She pushes way too much for the OP roll on characters, we already have enough of those games and this game isn't made for being a powerful character just one that knows how to Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive, Dodge with occasional smashing someone's noggin in for lights out.

At least this way she'll be confined to EA.
Bioware is going to have a field day

I did a bit of reading on her... and I don't see anything to warrant much if any ill will.

IIRC Anita is the one who graduated from Killjoy University.

Not sure if caricature, or just satire. Dammit, Poe!

Anyway, so I'm mostly sad because I'm suddenly filled, for no apparent reason, with a sense of incredible loss and regret over my childhood. I feel like I missed something, and now the me that could've experienced it is gone forever. And I have no idea what it is, exactly, but that it has something to do with exploring and, possibly, camaraderie.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Watch more Japanimation.  It will heal thee.

(I'm not even kidding about this.  Considering doing a regular stream when I move out of my parents' house.  I'm sure as hell buying copies of Les Mis and Pacific Rim and having a Sincerity Movie night with all yall)

So we can now confirm the impending return of the Vector Stream and pester you endlessly about it?

I've just learned that this existed, and never went anywhere.

On the other hand, I've just found out that this one actually did happen. I remember reading about it years ago, and just figured it was dead and forgot about it. Now I'm gonna have to watch it. Hope it's fun, but it looks pretty awful.

It is... likely.  To say the least.

The main reason I stopped was because my family has exactly one internet-capable computer, which of course everyone in my family wants at some time or another, so it's not possible to get a solid block of two hours or so.  Plus, my own computer is kind of verklempt.  It's 6+ years old now, was never all that powerful, and I may try to stream off it but I think that Serious Lag would happen.

So: some streaming when I move out, more when I get my very own AwesomeBox.

Honestly I think Mirror's edge is actually a great game for Anita to work on.

Think about it, it has a solo female hero with absolutely no other characters whatsoever (well ok, almost).

Since Anita's major issue with side characters is that they need to be fully fleshed out characters where the only time anything bad happens to them it needs to be to advance their plot.

Yet mirror's edge dodges that bullet in that it doesn't need any.

Why do we keep calling her Anita?  We don't call Bill Clinton "Bill," we call him "Clinton."  We don't call George Bush "George," we call him "Bush Jr." or whatever.
