Been watching a lot of Sealab.  It's sad to see it die.

The pilots are fucking beautiful.  I, Robot is the single funniest thing Adult Swim ever aired.  Past that is only marginally less funny than the pilots.   Still some of the best television in history.  Bizarro is funny.  Not hilarious, but funny.  Past that things start slipping.  I blame original animation.  Back when all they had was stolen raw footage of Sealab 2020 to work with, they had to actually write funny dialog.  Once they had their own animators they could skip on dialog and be random.  Tornado Shanks and everything past it is unwatchable.  Captain Murphy was the only thing keeping the show on its feet once they started using original animation. 

So yeah, I'm sad because Sealab 2021 died a slow, horrible death.  I was disappointed when it stopped airing, but I can see why.  They had to make room for anime and more unfunny Brendon Small shows.

Apparantly, if Duke Nukem Forever is released, it's not going to be released on PC.

I guess I never noticed, because I didn't start watching Sealab until it was nearly over anyway, but yeah, it's pretty obvious in retrospect.  Shame, that was some damn hilarious stuff in the early episodes.  I'm just disappointed they got around to a Jabberjaw reference.  At least not one I ever saw.


Hmm... I'm not sad per se, but this is making me a bit worried about myself.  My grandmother is moving into a new home, and my father could use some help working on the place.  I offered and want to go help him this weekend.  Not because I necessarily give a damn, but because I am so goddamn bored of my everyday existence, with absolutely no plans and nothing to do, that spending a weekend at granny's house roleplaying as that kid Tom Sawyer trolled is an attractive fucking way to spend my time.  What the fuck happened to my life.
