I ogled Ein's doll tits, read the text underneath, and immediately felt embarrassed.

Kinda funny, but I feel bad about being caught ogling doll tits.

Not true. Energy is relational to mass * velocity squared. The work that a rock can do is proportional to its energy, up to the point where the diameter of the material exceeding its shear stress from the shock wave from the passage of the rock exceeds the materials diameter AND the depth of the material causes insufficient drag to bring the rock to rest. And in that case, faster or bigger doesn't matter. The only time where bigger rocks are better is if your rock isn't fast enough to create a shock wave that exceeded the shearing strength of the material. The effect that hurling the rock has on you is proportional to mass * velocity, so you can almost always get better results out of a faster rock than a heavier rock for the same amount of recoil.

The amount of kinetic energy that you can transfer to a rock doesn't depend on it's mass, though. A heavier rok is slower, sure, but the mass difference makes exactly up for it.

I don't think there's a clear difference between hard rock and heavy metal.

More generally:  If you were to map music genres, you'd need a multi-dimensional (the higher the better, probably) map full of individual songs and large, irregularly-shaped genre regions.  Any number of regions could contain a given song.

It's made of adamantine and it has a picture of a dwarf and an elf. The dwarf is laughing. The elf is screaming.

It isn't metal enough if it doesn't double as an electric guitar.

Alright, we should get back on topic.

Hard Rock's a bit slower and sounds slightly different.

Led Zeppelin is blues rock, hard rock, or heavy metal (or other genres, even) depending on who you ask and whether they're trying to classify the band as a whole or just an individual song.

Aerosmith is similarly hard rock or heavy metal, depending on who you ask.

So no, I don't think there's a clear distinction.  And "a bit slower and sounds slightly different" is not clear anyway.

Hell, consider this:  "Heavy metal" was defined post facto.  Nobody said "let's be the first heavy metal band".
