Hm. I ordered Call of Cthulhu RPG by Chaosium.
Should be interesting if I can get a group together.

Something about Kermit the Frog can turn a mildly sad song into something gutwrenching

If this was made by that actual new Muppet Channel or whatever its called, it would have been "cool" in its own terribly weird and "ironic" way.  Being just some other guy making it, it's trampling all over Kermit, Johnny Cash, and Trent Reznor for a cheap and creepy laugh.  It's a good impression though.

As for making Jim Henson roll in his grave, it's about on par with Sinsimilla Street, though there's a bit more skill and art involved in this. It's got a different sort of impact, when you see a symbol of something innocent like muppets being paired with that song and video... so I give them credit for that.

It's something Bro would like.

Also, Trent Reznor's version is boring as hell.

I disagree, it's different, but still good.

Cash version sound more about getting old, while Trent sound more about self destruction. Says alot since the lyrics are about the same.

Turns out my little bro lost his virginity some time ago with his fiance.  He said he was smart about it though and didn't rush, and has a plan of action in case his fiance gets pregnant, which is good, and I'm proud he was cautious at least... although impatient o_O  He also started drinking alcohol before he turned 21 (legal drinking age here in the US) so I wasn't so suprised that he didn't want to wait for marriage for sex either.  I'm also glad that he and I can share these sorts of secrets, and a little sad that our parents and oldest brother would not take this news well.

I'm going back to school!  Unbelievable, wonderful, fantastic!  At the same time as it leaves this sort of "auuuuuuugh" feeling in my chest because I want to be back already to tackle-glomp1 my professors.
