I noticed Reddit has the same symbol as The Pirate Bay today, cool.

Anyway, I feel better because I finally managed to take a hot shower, huzzah.

I mentioned Catan today and my friends were like LOLWUT.

What is wrong with gamers these days? I mean, I still have an NES, for crying out loud. I play Dr. Mario and Klax all the time. I play Zelda: Link to the Past, and the original Mario Party, and the original A Boy And His Blob, and all kinds of stuff.

I feel fucking ancient.

I too have played all of those... But I have never heard of Catan.

Indeed. Sometimes shortened to Catan, or to Settlers.

I feel much the same, betimes as I talk o' the days long since gone by, when I as a lad played Excitebike, Galaga, and Prince of Persia. Aye... an' when me mates and I played D&D, an' Dwarf was not a Race, but a Class... and long before any o' that Drow nonsense what you see all over now. Readin' "Choose Yer Own Adventure" books, an' the Dragonlance novels, an' troublin' me head to solve the puzzles o' Myst. Pokemon were a brand new thing, it were, when I was but just over 10 years of age.

Aye. I know what it feels like ta be from bygone days. Some day, these youngsters will be feelin' the same... though how ye can have a fond memory o' the days of Justin Beiber an' Facebook an' crappy Flash Games has me a might bit perplexed. Kids don't get the same appreciation fer the craft of a good game or song, lest they experience the classics.

I am somewhat sad because WorkerDrone appears to have faded out of existence.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

I'd imagine Her is supposed to mean Janet, but she's still somewhat active on the forums.
