in my experience, wit and wisdom go a long way. at least for attracting non-brain-dead people. often they are looking only skin deep for someone to hang out with/ get close to.

smart, witty people are much more attractive I think. My wife likes my "geekyness" so maybe I just got lucky *shrugs*

Maybe it's just an environmental thing. My town tends to have people that think it's Lesser-Miami or Lesser-Daytona. Shallow and not so smart. I guess Atlanta had better crowds. :-\

I dunno, I need to do more, and more recent, field testing to be sure.

And yes, wit and wisdom goes a long way, but humor is a consistent 1st placer. Personally, I would also add badass to the list.

the watchmen?

the

This makes me sad.
oh go cry me a river over it. I remembered the group's name because of the graffiti in both the movie and the graphic novel that says "Who watches the watchmen?". I assumed it was "the watchmen" instead of just "watchmen" so pardon my apparently amazing amount of ignorance. >.>

I attempted to mod in wagons as a creature in DF; not the best success but entertaining nonetheless.

What makes me sad is that it's not a complete success. Instead of huge trade wagons, I got Radio Flyers (Those little red wagons). And crafting stuff out of them yields some oddities that outweigh the Earth, regardless the base material (wagon leather) being feather-light.

Just check out my bug reports.

Ah, c'mon Cthulhu, you know a minor incident when your grammatical mistake is pointed out is the perfect excuse to get unreasonably angry and sarcastic. I think it's even recognized in a court of law.

Actually I still have no idea what watchmen are. Cthulhu didn't help at all.

to the extent of my knowledge it is a graphic novel that was made into a movie (which was closer to it's source than any movie based on comic/ game movie I've ever seen). Its a story set in a gritty world much like in batman. the super-heroes however are mostly regular people who put on masks and fought crime. My description does it no justice

1. For those who are discussing Watchmen.

2. I finished the first disc of Tales of Symphonia ;_;  I had no idea how much of it had been spoiled for me (pretty much the entire first disc, in case anyone was wondering)... and now I have to go "procure" the other half if I want to finish.  Silly me, should have started looking for it when I still had lots to play through, but I was dumb and didn't.  Shame on me.

In other news, I have a deep hatred for Zelos.  He has only been in my party once.  Kratos and Regal all the way, man ~  Though to be honest, Presea is also pretty cool.
